I went with Keith to a doctor's appointment.  While waiting I walked a litt (inside the the sky bridge between the parking lot and the medical building), finished reading a book, and then walked again.

Once off the freeway instead of continuing home we stopped at Beaches for dinner.  We haven't been there in ages.  It was a nice treat.

The very important envelope was not there - very bad. Hopefully tomorrow, but I won't know until one or two. VERY VERY bad.

For anyone looking for it, the American Masters program about Bernstein is also called "Reaching for the Note," and it is Episode 1 from Season 13.

Last couple of days kind of strange for me.  I don't know why.

Have felt a bit out of my normal self, whatever that might actually be.

I may be reacting, somewhat, to the new drug Dupixent, although i have nothing tangible to actually point to and say this is a side effect.

Dupixent advertises on TV as a remediation from eczema.  It is also a much-vaunted remediation for the sinus issues I have which seem to be improving daily.  A side effect could be eczema at the point of injection, but that's a possibility rather than a probability.

Today, I felt the need for a salad and went to the club and got a very nice blackened chicken salad with bleu cheese dressing.

I also unboxed my new mini-fridge and set in my dining room next to my kitchen door.  I got my VA meds that require refrigeration today, so they are safely tucked away along with a bunch of soft drinks.

Since I last posted, I have managed to watch episode three of "True Detective: Night Country" and I remain intrigued by it.

I also re-watched "Saltburn" and continue to be in awe of the acting talents of Keoghan, Pike and Grant.

They are wonderful.  The others are really good, but Barry Keoghan is amazing, Rosamund Pike is a revelation and Richard E. Grant has never been as perfectly cast as he is in this film.  My opinion.

Fun cast, but oh what a lousy show.

When you want less singing and more libretto, something is seriously wrong.

Still, it was oddly compatible with last week’s My Fair Lady. Very similar structure, though Pretty Woman has two scenes thst could be like the Ascot Races before they go to the opera (aka the ball).

I don’t have the cast recording, but the program said it was all based on Jerry Mitchell’s original production.

And yet, the audience ate it up.

People were whooping and hollering. And they left talking about how much they enjoyed it.

Bryan Adams should stick to pop songs.
