Kitty cleanup finished, trash taken to the basement and the mail picked up; all that's left is the bed and putting away Grandma's beautiful quilt.

Happy first Sunday of March to everyone!  There's a new Broadway Radio Show up on the site and I am chatting with Tony Award nominated writer/composer Paul Gordon about his latest musical The Gospel According to Heather!  Give it a listen...lots of interesting conversation and, of course, selections from the recently released cast recording.

Back to Rich and Strange. The premise is that a bored, young, poor couple get unexpected wealth, and this discover they’re bored but in a higher class. It’s an early talkie, some odd moments of dubbed sound but it’s visually fascinating.

Started watching Jupiter Ascending, a cheesy sci-fi film with Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. According to a hilarious review on rogerebert.com, Eddie Redmayne appears to be doing an impression of Glenn Close if she were 100. It’s accurate.

I just watched a house hunter episode where they were looking in Studio City. The poor buyers had a budget of only 7 million.

They were complaining that the massive kitchen island didn't have a second built-in sink.

This movie is so bad that it’s enjoyable for the mess that it is.

The score is the worst kind of faux Carmina Burana imaginable.

Does that fit the definition of first world problems?   :)
