I never knew that trains could blur in the phantasmagoric mist.

I learned that from a subtitle in La Roue, this ever-so-long French silent film I am watching.

Only an hour into it and the plot is more twisted than a mandrake root.

A train worker steals a girl from a train wreck scene and makes her believe she is the older sister of his son. When they're older the boy and girl fall in love, though they try to deny it. Meanwhile, Dad has fallen in love with the girl too. Very Judge Turpin.

Another fascinating theme of the movie: A goat is a girl's best friend.

This morning I called to confirm our afternoon appointments for our Pfizer covid vaccinations.  We we arrived we were told they were out of Pfizer.  Fortunately the pharmacist I spoke to this morning put the last two Pfizer viles aside for us.

That's pretty cool.  Vaccination reservations. :)

Thanks (again), Jane!

"Vibes and Kisses" could be the name of something

Maybe you and Skip, or even BK, could write an opening night song?? :D

Looking forward to hearing about George's opening - wait - that doesn't sound right - George's opening night.

I'll post during the show.  I have long periods of no cues.

Sounds like the prequel to the play, The Goat, or, Who is Sylvia?

I hired a very expensive limousine,  but then I found out it doesn't come with a driver.

I finished the first half of La Roue. I needed to hear voices after that.

Ferrari is not all that great. In fact, there are scenes in the beginning that are unintentionally bad. Really bad. I have never been much of a Michael Mann fan, Thief being a major exception. This one lives down to expectations.

Got an email yesterday about a $40 4K version of Paint Your Wagon. Seriously? Who needs to spend that on a copy of Paint Your Wagon?

Adam Driver is fine, even if he keeps everyone, including the audience, at arms’ length.
