You may ask yourself, "Why put off till another day what you may accomplish over the next three days?'  But I'll tell you:  I don't know.

I guess I'm just lazy.

I say, "Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow?"  Then I quote Les Miserables:

"And tomorrow never came." ;)

Another verbal mistake: Lanette McKee, not Lonette

She was staying in the apartment next to this very one during her first Broadway run in SHOW BOAT.

Diver Dan

Fun at One

Wonderama

Birthday House

Soupy Sales

The Jerry Mahoney Club

The Micky Mouse Club

Fireball XL5

AstroBoy

I vaguely remember watching Captain Kangaroo and the early version of The Micky Mouse Club from repeats.

In Seattle you got Marni Nixon. In Detroit we got Milky the Clown, sponsored by Twin Pines dairy.

Oh yes, I must have watched Bozo the Clown too.

Saturday evening greetings!  We’re following both NCAA basketball tournaments this weekend.  The women’s semifinals were great games last night and tonight’s men’s games are currently unfolding.

Go, Boilermakers!

DETROIT!!!

DR MichaelG, did you grow up there, too?  My family lived on the west side until I graduated from high school in 1968.  My earliest TV memories are of Romper Room with Miss Ardis (Keneally) and, of course, Soupy Sales.

We also got kids programming from the Windsor, Ontario, Canada station CKLW.  Johnny Ginger, Captain Jolly, Jingles.

I saw her in the Harold Prince production. She was a perfect Julie.
