It was interesting to read about the CHARADE copyright mix up.

I wondered how that happened since I saw a $1 VHS copy many many years ago.

Continued back vibes for DR JOHN G.

Whatever you have moved onto from WOG has to be an improvement.  There was a good idea for a tv series in there.....somewhere.

I have been reviewing my colonoscopy prep instructions. At least 3 days before, I have to cut out anything high in fiber, including lentils.

What good is living without lentils?

I have successfully lived without lentils for nearly 67 years

And I for nearly 58 years! ;)

May December is also the first movie I've seen where one of my music notation buddies has an orchestration credit. Far from his first such credit, just the first I've seen.

That's really cool, MichaelG!

Not sitting g much yesterday certainly helped me.  So far I have mostly been ok today.  OK as in tolerable.

No-pain vibes for Jane for the flight to Dublin.

So, today I went downtown to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts with the intention of purchasing a ticket to the silent movie series with live organ music played by Dennis James.

However, when I got there, waiting in line was my friend Margot (not to be confused with my friend Margo) and she asked if I was going to purchase a ticket, or if I had one waiting at Will Call.

I said that I needed to purchase a ticket and she said that I didn't need to!

Just a couple of minutes before I got there, someone gave her a ticket that that person's friend got for from their church, and asked if Margot wanted it.

Margot said she and her husband (my friend Bryan) wanted to sit together (not knowing what tickets around the free ticket had already been sold), so the person asked if Margot would mind giving it away, and Margot said that she wouldn't.

I need to get the store and buy some jello and popsicles.

Buy some canned chicken broth. You'll get sick of sweet things.

Also, ask your doctor if you can do the Miralax cleanse. No bad taste. Very easy to do.

The evening's entertainment were two different silent comedies:  one was a Charlue Chapin two-reeller, and the other was a Harold Lloyd six-reeler.

Both were quite funny and had delightful music accompaniment.

The music that was played for the Charlie Chaplin movie was actually written by Charlie Chaplin for this movie!

Singdaw, only eat white things -- white pasta, white yogurt with no fruit, white bread. Stuff with no fiber at all.

Actually, Dennis James said that about 85% of the music was Chaplin's, but that he changed some of the music at the end because either he didn't like it or it fidn't quite work (I forget which).

For the Harold Lloyd movie, he said that a score was never specifically for the movie, so he did what musicians did back in the day and compiled music that fit what was happening on the screen.

After the movies, I went to my sister's to help he with a couple of things, and now I'm at Subway, having just finished half a meatball sub that I got with a coupon.
