My question for ASK BK DAY?  Is there an actor or actress in film or television that you have a hard time understanding when they speak?

For me - there are two actresses from the 60's that I have never been able to figure out  what they are saying:

Claudia Cardinale and Genevieve Page.

I'm not BK (and I have never played him on TV), but I love the Forbidden Broadway spoof of Patti LuPone's diction.

I love Patti, but I love that song, too!

Here it is

Flashing some guy
With my Stubby Kaye thigh

That lyric still makes me laugh.

Hmm, maybe my "Socially Distant" Patti/Sondheim parody-tribute was too respectful to catch on!  (Or maybe it was too soon to try to get laughs from social distancing?)

(from May 2020)
"Little Things We Do Together"-"Together Wherever We Go" parody medley

That's great, Freddie!

I have been the victim of AT&T and Norton Computer Security scams. For the past month, I have been getting "invoices"ion the amounts of $300-500 from companies supposedly representing AT&T and Norton, claiming I must pay these invoices or that the invoice has been processed. I ignore them and store them in my SCAM email forder, but I'm getting really tired of it.

Mamma Mia 3: Here We Go Again Again.

Looks like it's happening.

Interesting.  Is Meryl Streep's ghost going to be in it again?

Even though I was probably in high school when I saw it, and more than likely hadn't seen any other gay movie, the fact that these two supposedly gay characters essentially turned straight just bugged the crap out of me! I remember seeing interviews on the daytime talk shows in the '80s where they'd ask gay people if they'd take a pill to be straight, and most said that they would (it was a different time, I know). But I knew even back then that I wouldn't. I may have been in the closet (especially in school) and an introvert, but I absolutely had no problem being gay and had no interest in being turned straight.

I find it interesting/great that considering your challenges, and youth, that you were fine with being different.

Thanks, Jane.

I get things like that all the time, and I mark them as spam, but there's really no way to stop them that I know of. :-\

Also, thanks to whomever - if any of the DRs or guests  - passed on the link to others.  That video already got more additional views today (since I posted it here) than there are regular DRs on HHW these days. :)

Apparently. Or she's Donna's long-lost twin, Madonna.

Jrand, I can't understand most of the actors working today. Nuryev was a bit hard to understand in Valentino.

I have made an appointment with another neck specialist. I hope this one knows how to get an MRI out of the insurance company.
