You all crack me up!

Laura--that IS a cool birthday present!  The only cooler thing I could think of would be to find a big present under the tree, unwrap it, and have it be Josh Hartnett with a card saying "All for you" around his neck!

Swishy--I love you, sweetie.  Really, I do.  But you better start running...cause I am chasing you right now!  :P

Mmmm...caramel....

Now if you could find a 33-year old waiter who looked like Josh Harnett (or Jason) then you would really have something.

How's about a forty-something waiter who looks like Martin Mull?

Do you accept tips???

At least it's a change TCB! Does the singing not 33 year old waiter from Pennsylvania deliver? (I know the last word had an ambiguity in there somewhere!)

I think I mentioned the other day (after a rough rehearsal) that we had double cast the roles of Oliver, Dodger, and Charley in our production of Oliver.  So tonight one of the urchins comes up to me in front of the whole cast and says, "Hey!  How come we don't have two Fagins?"

I looked at him for a minute and then said, "You do.  We just shoved them both inside one body."

I will bet on  the show having at least two Nancies as well. Are there two dogs too?

Nope, nope, nope........... I will be good.  I won't say a word

Actually, I think we finally got a new Bill Sykes for the show.  We have lost two already.  Maybe, it was sharing the dressing room with me?  Who knows?

We were running out of options.  I was about to drive up to Levenworth and kidnap Jed for the part.

I'm not going there! School teachers need another interest. Go for it.

And I would've been there in a second, TCB!  I'm sure I could find some way to be in both Leavenworth and Gig Harbor for those nights our performances overlap.  :D

P.S. - Though I'm performing in Leavenworth, I actually live in Wenatchee now, so adjust your kidnapping route.

I must truthfully confess that even though it is considered one of the essentials spots to go for the Christmas Season, and although as a travel agent I used to put together bus trips to the tree lighting every year; I personally have never been to Levenworth.

Emily and I never had one.. indeed, we never even had one free period. Maybe 2 people in our grade had one. They didn't want us to do anything naughty

...you mean like we were doing in the janitor's closet?  ;)

Thanks for the tip, bud.  Now I will have to leave a couple of hours earlier.

That's two of us Washingtonians who have never made it there.  My may shows a population of under 2000. Is that still true? My last (and final) school population was bigger than that.

Well, if our two Washingtonian Tom's can't make it to a Leavenworth Christmas, I'll bring it to them!

...hmmm...that didn't work...I'll try again...

Success!!!

Leavenworth is a tiny little place...but the population probably doubles during tourist season.  Not a bad place to be a tourist if you're a fan of leiderhosen.

I must not be fully paid up for Cinerama. I was expecting a widescreen Jed. Ah! the disappointments of far South Western Washington.

TFO - Leavenworth's population is close to 3,000 now... still, pretty danged small.  Another reason I moved to Wenatchee (population around 65,000 with our counterpart East Wenatchee across the river).

I may be at the opening of "Oliver" instead. Hope my tickets arrive soon. Leiderhosen is OK with me if worn with pearls and it is after 5.00pm. (A fashion tip I got from Dame Edna).
