BK, The Trap, which sounds dreadful, also sounds much like one of the very worst musicals I've ever seen, The News, from 1985. Only in this case the yong girl was the daughter of a newspaper editor-in-chief of the newspaperting on the killings, rather than the serial killer. I saw the show with Dona Vaughn (of the Vocal Minority in the OBC of Company). At intermission, she turned to me and said, I wish he'd kill me and put me out of my misery. We had to stay since we were comped in by one of the producers.

Well FFA is over. Words were said in circle, hugs were given.

The stage crew said they wanted to strike the physical set on Sunday at 1 p.m. - so we gave the theeder a good cleaning.....green room, dressing rooms, theeder itself, lobby and restrooms.

This was accomplished in about an hour.....then we all had pizza and free drinks from the box office refrigerator....and gabbed until about 12:45 p.m.

It was much fun.

The season is OVER! Good performance last night and a fair audience. I think our best audience and performance was Friday night - the night of the engagement.

I have an appointment at 10:20 a.m. for my Covid Vaccination and Flu shot.

When I woke up, it was 10:05. I jumped up and rushed around trying to get ready and was in a panic....and then I realized that the appointment is MONDAY and today is SUNDAY......

Good morning! There's a new Broadway Radio Show up on the site for your entertainment. This week, I am joined by the multi-talented Chilina Kennedy who is not only a talented Broadway performer (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, The Great Gatsby, and Paradise Square), but is also a terrific songwriter. She and I chat about Wild About You, a new musical for which she has written the score. The concept recording deluxe edition is coming out this week and the show had a hugely successful concert production in London and is, hopefully, headed to Broadway in the near future. Check it out!
