Good news, especially being on Siesta Key. Mainland Sarasota seems to have gotten off lighter than they expected, but I haven't heard much about the barrier islands yet.

I recently bought a copy of Paint Your Wagon ($2), but I would hardly call myself a fan.

I listened to his songs on the soundtrack recently and was pleasantly surprised to hear his singing. No great singing voice, but it seemed effective enough in the recording. I don't know how it played in the movie though.

Gran Torino is fun to watch as a Detroit native. The barbershop used in the movie was on the way between our house and the music store where I took trumpet lessons.

Yes, and I noticed how he complained about a political post (which it wasn't) and then threw out links and opinions which did make the discussion much more overtly political.
