There is a thing, I don’t know if it is every school or what, but the students and teachers go to the gym to dance the Monster Mash. So I’ll go observe that.
Keith and NOT DR JANE.
Very enjoyable photo of Keith and not-Jane, Jrand!
Boo!
I saw something on Facebook about putting potatoes out along with the candy, and lots of kids take them. I have never heard of this.
It is snowing here.
I think these are probably the last cookies I am going to decorate. I have never been good at it, and it hurts my back after a while. The kids do love the cookies; adults won't take them.
Although I have heard that they are the best cookies in the world.

Jane, no changes. Still looking at condo listings daily, but I don’t think that what I wanted exists here. Do I buy something I’m only so-so about, just to have a place to live? That’s what will probably happen, but I would like to find a better alternative.
The scariest trick or treater was the kid a couple years ago who said, "I'm here to discuss your car's extended warranty." I told him to take as much candy as he wanted.
Once I went in, they did what they do, dilated me, came back fifteen minutes later and did a thorough exam. It's definitely a weak muscle but they need to be certain which muscles are affected and the surgeon will determine that as the final arbiter. So, now we wait for the surgeon referral to be approved by United Health Care (shouldn't be a problem) and he really wants an MRI so he also contacted my PCP that's I'll be seeing in three weeks to make sure that happens. It will either be an open MRI or only my head and shoulders will go in the machine - that I can deal with. As to my actual vision, I'm twenty/twenty in the left eye and 25 in the right. He said that's really good. He said my cataracts are mild and not worth doing anything about right now. The whole thing took about an hour.
I very much enjoyed Ron's story of life in the Navy
TOD: We get a few trick or treaters, not as many as when we moved in, so we're ready for them. I dress up as Steve Jobs (black mock turtleneck, blue jeans, New Balance shoes) but nobody gets the joke except me.
Kids will be in costume for school. I have one bumblebee and one Link. Link is a character from the Zelda video games.
