I watched "Foul Play" last night.
It's very entertaining, has good music, Barry Manilow singing a coupe of songs, a bit of The Mikado is in the mix and there is Goldie Hawn and Chevy (he looks like Bruce Kimmel) Chase.
Goldie is SO YOUNG in this film. I remember seeing it when it was released in 1978. When I look in a mirror, I still see myself as I was then although photographs inform me those days are LONG GONE.
While the movie is fun, it's also a bit convoluted, plot- and character-wise. And let me not leave out Dudley Moore in a wonderfully comic performance, nor omit Billy Barty as the dwarf Bible salesman who had one of the worst "accidents" on screen I have ever witnessed. And then there is Cooper Huckabee, rube from the sticks in the city (San Francisco) who gets treated to a "joy ride" that is a lot of fun.
