TOD: The most memorable for either actor (probably due to recency) was Ian McKellen as Macbeth with Judi Dench as Lady Macbeth. When we did Verdi's opera, a bunch of the chorus got together to watch this before staging rehearsals started.

When I was in Germany over Christmas a few years back, the radio station my sister listened to played Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah over and over again. Since when did this song become a Christmas song? It’s now the opening song on Jennifer Hudson’s Christmas album? Do people just not pay attention to the other lyrics?

That annoying eye shield protects the eye from being rolled over on in sleep, accidentally rubbed, that kind of thing. I found that experimenting with shifting it a little before re-taping it kept the eyelashes from hitting it. My doctor had me wear it while sleeping for a week, for each eye.

Maybe they'd be better off using Steve and Eydie's "Hallelujah" for the holidays

Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormé - "Hallelujah" - released under the name Parker and Penny (to trick the radio DJs into playing it?)

I never really paid attention to the words.  Curious as to why it is considered a Christmas song I found this article. https://variety.com/2022/music/news/hallelujah-leonard-cohen-book-excerpt-alan-light-expanded-edition-1235281084/

I never had a problem with my eyelashes and the patch, on me, was very large.  I needed a lot of tape to keep it on and the tape bothered me the most.

Now have my appointment with the doctor who does the eye surgery on 12/2, the day before the first Kritzerland rehearsal. It will be a visit to determine which muscle or muscles are causing the issue and then I'm hoping we can set the surgery appointment right then.

Excellent news you have an appointment.  I expect, unless he can't determine which muscle it is, you will book the surgery before you leave the office.  Vibes you can book it then.

FWIW:  Watching TV, I am greatly aware of a vivid difference in colors and brightness between my left and right eyes.

I had heard that this might be the case.  I didn't realize I'd notice it quite this fast.
