Last year got too far off onto the multicultural path for some parents, so no Kwanza suite this year, it sounds like straight-ahead basics. 1st grader is doing Jingle Bell Rock and Rudolph. 4th graders got Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree. The whole lot will unite for We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

I somehow managed to get in trouble at school for all of the above. The fourth grade teacher hated mysteries and forbade us from taking them out at any point in the classroom. The Perry Mason covers were too risque for a Lutheran school.
