I am back from all my errands. I love my podiatrist, Dr Corrado, and we had a nice visit. Then, I went to my neighborhood barber and got my gift haircut.

The Access-a-Ride driver taking me to 22nd Street was wonderful, one of the best AAR folk I've ever encountered. When he told me he was Dominican, I thought, I hope he's not someone on Tramp's deportation list.

I was never a mystery fan until 1958, when my family went to spend Christmas holiday with my dad's brothesr in Tucson, Arizona. My cousin Betty Jean had what appeared to be the complete Nancy Drew series. I spent tjhe holiday reading most of them.

I've only read one Sherlock Holmes mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles. The only Agatha Christie novels I've read are The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and Ten Little Indians aka And Then There Were None.

In the 1970s, while I lived in Ohio, I read all of Dashiell Hammett and a lot of Raymond Chandler. I remember little about each author's books now. I blame Stephen King.
