And in new news, the basement fridge has died.Which actually is fine by us, because we rarely use it these days and older fridges suck up the wattage like nobody's business. I went down to throw one thing in the freezer, opened the door, and a rush of warm air -- actually, make that warm, SMELLY air -- rushed out at me. The motor was still running, but we figure the cooling system shat the bed about a month ago. There were a few things in it that were probably on the verge of growing limbs and walking right out of there. This was a full size refrigerator I brought home when we closed our office in 2002 and I began working from home. There was lots of good stuff we were allowed to take. It was wonderful for a while, having the extra storage, but we just no longer need it. And once we get it out of here, we can sure use the space.

But I am older than 14, which seems to be the target audience. My niece loved that movie...and Bette's Big Business. She watched B's BB so often that she actually wore out four, count 'em, FOUR VHS copies!

Unfortunately, short bank hours today - until two. So, if I don't have the dough by say twelve-thirty, I can't get there in time to transfer into the account from which I wrote the check.
