Now that we're on page 8 so early, is it (retroactively) OK to name Page Seven?

I whipped up another double batch of thumbprint cookies in about half the time it took them to make one.

Two kids helping does slow things down.

The Nonna, (who is about five years older than my own kids) came over and gave me a hug for having the children over. She doesn't bake, but her daughters (one of whom is the mother of said children) is learning how to.

This is very sweet.

Vixmom, I'm glad you didn't break anything. That's something I always worry about. One bad fall can change the lives of us Old Ladies.

I wasn't old yet when my life drastically changed from a fall.

Jane, congratulations on your brand new HHW posting millstone!

Thank you.  I attempted to post a photo of it but couldn't.

Better late than never:

Thanks.  I should have sent you my photo that I finally gave up trying to post.  The problem wasn't here.  I couldn't get the attachment from my end of it to stop disappearing.

Got the car place paid, so that's done. I'm told the second payment will be done today but it's too late for the bank, unfortunately, so I'll be up early on Thursday to take care of the transfer.

It’s supposed to be infused with a rum glaze. I made it and decided it was too sweet and overpowering for the cake. I’ll serve it as a hard sauce on the side.

It sounds good, however, I think serving it on the side is better.
