And packaged it in ziploc bags for the freezer. It' ok that it will get crumbly.

He came home once with seven pounds of parmesan. We did use all that, although I gave some to my daughter-in-law and the pastor's wife.  It's what he was looking for when he saw the gorgonzola on sale. He thought it was similar.

He also brought home 8 pounds of swiss and 3 pounds of provolone. And 5 dozen eggs, 3 pounds of baby lettuce, and 5 pounds of mushrooms.

There's a restaurant supply grocery store nearby, and he's good about finding the things they mark down.

You'd think we're set for a major snowstorm or something.

Thank you DR Iris.  My nephew was lucky he was able to get to his house and pack up a few belongings.  The roads are now shut.  Considering the extensive number of fires he and neighbors spent putting out the entire day, he fears the house will not survive.

Our Great Blizzard of 2025 is now over.

We had a few flakes early yesterday, and sporadic freezing rain and sleet throughout the day.  If there was measurable precipitation, it would be in tenths of inches.

Temperature is now 38 F, and will get into the 40s today.  Tonight, we return to the mid-to-low 20s.

TOD:

One of my favorites by Dean Martin is "In the Chapel in the Moonlight".

I love "Just in Time" and a lot of others, including BK's listing.

I agree on Just in Time. A little Dean Martin goes a long way with me.

DR Freddie, the bank did let me know they were closing the account, but I did not have a choice in the matter.

That's terrible customer service!

If you have room for it, sounds like it could be good in the long run!

TOD:  The songs mentioned by BK in the Notes and by Ron P

and also "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime" - which was the theme music for The Dean Martin show.

My brother's snake is in the garage and he can't get to it.

I guess I will have to just suffer and call someone on Monday.
