Well, you've read the notes, you've eyed the notes, the notes have eyed you, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're being quite ocular, you know.

Favorite cheesy horror - The Creeping Terror or, as I like to call it, Five Men In A Carpet.

Phlebitis.. Nah!  Too easy.
Could almost be the name of a cheesy horror movie though.

My cheesy horror double "Beaches meets Steel Magnolias".

One of my favorite cheesy horror movies:  Beware! The Blob!  I remember when I was seven or eight years old, watching this on late-night TV with my sister and several friends at a sleep-over at our house.  It scared the crap out of me!  Now, it's just a gelatinous pile of cheese. ;)

At that time, I used to sleep with my arm under my pillow and my hand sticking out from under the pillow up by my headboard.  After I saw the first part of that movie (I was too scared to watch all of it), I was afraid that The Blob was under my bed and wanted to eat my hand!  Not me, just my hand.  I couldn't sleep with my hand sticking out after that, and haven't since.  I have actually tried a couple of times when I was older (when I wasn't scared anymore), but it was just plain uncomfortable. ::)

I always forget that "Beware! The Blob" was directed by Larry Hagman!

I watched Girl with a Suitcase (La Ragazza con La Valigia), which is not a cheesy horror/sci-fi movie ;), and Claudia Cardinale was young and very cute. And the music is interesting, especially Tintarella Di Luna is set effectively and freshly into one of highposts in it.

Morning BK, what are you doing up so early?

The board is very slow again.

I'm so glad that plane came down ok.  I had to watch it on the net because Tivo was getting Lost for me.

Have a wonderful day every one!

Again, I had to come in through the main page.  Maybe the host does maintenence in the middle of the night?

I woke up at three-thirty feeling completely nauseous with that awful taste one gets in one's throat.  I'm  trying to get my tummy to calm down - chewed a couple of Tums which were, of course, completely nauseating.

1) It was billed as: "The film that "JR" shot!"

2) BK's very own Cindy Williams was in the film

So if Cindy Williams does the show.

How about if CW and BK recreate the Bachelor Bills musical number from The Creature Wasn't Nice aka Spaceship aka Naked Gun

Seeing DR Jason new avitar. Reminds me of the movie "Bananas" directed etc etc by Woody Allen where J. Edgar Hoover (head of the FBI for those too young to remember who he was)  was revealed to be a big black woman!

It all depends on Cindy's sched in terms of what she does in the benefit.  She may just introduce the beginning of the show, introduce a segment in the show or, if she has the time and feels like it, may do a little scene (we've talked about recreating our little infamous scene from Luv), or perhaps a song.

Throat is starting to feel more normal.  You know how it goes when you have that little "bile" in your throat and it feels all weird and sore and everything.  Blechhh.

Good morning, Michael.  Hope your back is improving.

For the topic of the day, do the movies have to have monsters?  If not, a movie I hated when I first saw it, but later grew to really appreciate was MASSACRE AT CENTRAL HIGH.  The extreme low budget became part of its charm when I took another look at it years after its premiere.

BRECHT AND BILE - That could be a sort-of cerebral horror film.

Topic of the Day - The only one that comes to mind is that horrible adaptation of Stephen King's "Children of the Corn".   But somehow, they managed to make a CotC2, and I believe even a CotC3.  Was there a 4??!?!?

And speaking of horror movies...

I've been seeing the trailers for the remake of "The Fog", and I was trying to remember if the original version of "The Fog" was actually that scary?  I remember the commercials for it being a little creepy.  And I remember Adrienne Barbeau was in it too.  And John Houseman!  But I seem to remember that once I actually saw the movie, I didn't think it was that scary.  I think I was expecting more guts and gore, instead of all that suspense.

Who knows?  Do you?
