Watched some basketball and several episodes of Dark Shadows.

Still fun to see.

My first MRI was horrific.  Thank goodness the length of time to do these has been drastically reduced.

The following three MRIs were at the original length of thime and were only made easier by my letting the person doing them what I needed her to do to get me through it.  Drugs helped with all of them.

As the time in the machine and not being able to move was reduced, I then stopped needing drugs to keep my muscles relaxed.

As for a CAT scan, it really depends on the position my body is put in.  The first one I should have stopped it.  The others have been ok.

Bruce have you been told if the CT scan will be with a contrast dye or not?

I usually need that and have never had a problem with it.  I know you don't like needles, and it does leave one in your arm during the proceedure.

Keith stopped at the market on his way home from the gym and picked up a few things.

The only item from my list that he could find, or remembered, were eggs.

He found a new brand of range free, pasture fed eggs that looks very good.  I'll watch for them from now on.

The price of $7.49 was around what I have been paying for them, down from what they were.

TOD: I've got no problem with CAT scans, MRIs, colonoscopies, EKGs, or echocardiograms.

Wow, not even the colonoscopy prep?

I don't have a problem with visiting the bathroom a lot. The first time I didn't know what to expect, but now it's fine, whatever.

And now we get to do three more performances - this Sunday, then the following Saturday and Sunday.

Vibes these nights are even better.

Thanks, DR Jane! Our nephew and niece are coming to the show tomorrow.

We've now gotten two comments from really good musicians who have heard the chorus over many years saying they can't recall the chorus ever sounding better - particularly the choral sound quality. That makes us (and our chorus director) very happy!

Doug Fullington, who hired me to score the ballet in 2023, had an event on Thursday night at the NYPL for Performing Arts to celebrate his enormous tome on five classic ballets. I missed it because I thought it was on Friday night. So Doug and his partner Rich are coming to visit me around 11:00 this morning. I will ask him to sign my copy of his book. I hope it's a nice visit with no more complications.

I haven't caught up yet to see if you've posted about your get-together, but I hope it all went well!

Going down a nostalgic rabbit-hole with Dickie Goodman's "cut-in" or "break-in" records from the 70s, which consisted of a "reporter" asking questions, with the answers being short clips from pop radio hits. Examples are "Mr. Jaws" and "The Energy Crisis."  DR Rodzinski probably knows all about these.

I don't know "The Energy Crisis," but I loved "Mr. Jaws!" ;D

I have had no problems so far with CT scans or MRIs.

I've never had either.  Only X-rays.

My guests arrived shortly after 11:00 and left around 12:45. I had never met Rich, Doug's partner, and I really liked him. Doug and I had much to discuss, mostly about the future of the ballet, including a ballet suite for concert use, and other possible projects. It was a wonderful visit.

That's great, Larry!

I often read the notes after I catch up.  Today I will read them now :)

I always want to read everything in chronological order so I know what everyone is referring to...but that's just me. ;)

It is getting the drink down and keeping it down which is my problem.  You sound like Keith-not a big deal.
