George, thanks about the line. It was soooo light I expected it to be gone today, which is what happened for Keith both times he had covid. Nope, it is still there
Richard Holmes, Rupert's brother, suggested I ask Spectrum what TV stations I never watch and see if removing them will lower my monthly bill from $244.00.So, I just got off the phone with Spectrum. My new bill is now $196.00/month.

I just ordered new glasses. It'll take one to two weeks...hopefully they'll get here sooner rather than later.

A few years ago, I realized that I pretty much wasn't watching any TV, even the pay channels that I was paying for, so I dropped all TV and my bill went from about $240 to $96, and I haven't missed it at all.
I’ve been reading Josephine Baker’s memoir. Didn’t know that Georges Simenon was her secretary and lover. Here’s a short bit on them and Simenon fan Walter Benjamin. https://anpaenhuysen.blogspot.com/2022/07/walter-benjamin-georges-simenon.html?m=1

I read it in college because he attended the 1928 premiere of The Threepenny Opera. He mentions a party he attended where folies bergere star, a nude Josephine Baker, was having public sex with another woman. It's hard to forget parties like that!

My daughter's favorite.Same! And Quizno’s carbonara was my jam. Then the Quizno’s disappeared around me. But I found one in Canada recently. Brought back memories.

I will accompany my cousin tomorrow below freezing morning when her Mom is laid to rest next to her husband.....and the family cemetery.
