I am hosting a group at the church this afternoon, so Kerry's mixer has been whirling today.

Very nice!

I made: a lemon blueberry cake; snickerdoodles, brownies, pretzel bites, and baba ganoush.

Yummy!

I'm up, I'm up - maybe five hours of sleep. I'm thinking the chicken last night was perhaps tainted.

No!! :o

I am a bit under the weather. I was sick a week ago, after having gone to the doctor for a wellness check. The substitute nurse told me that many of the staff called in sick and I know they had lots of patients because she put me in the overflow room. I felt fine then, but was sick a few days later. Harrrummpphh! That’s what comes from going to the doctor.

I took my various remedies — the HHW-approved Sambucol and a few other things — and managed to keep it in the category of relatively mild. Then the other day I relapsed. Ugh! Whatever this is it is tenacious.

Hi, George!

Vibes to your mother. I know she was in the hospital, but that’s about all. She had surgery?

Thank you. Given all the flu going around I’m glad I wasn’t very sick. Mine didn’t seem serious enough to even call it flu.

Glad to hear the CAT scan went so smoothly! I was surprised to hear you didn't feel warm with the dye - I sure as heck did when I had one a couple months ago. The heat only lasted a minute or so but it was pretty intense.

Wow, I'm sorry about that.  I've never had a problem.  If I have felt anything it has never been enough to remember it.  Fortunately I have never had an allergic reaction to it.

It wasn't any problem, it was just different. They told me what to expect. I was just surprised BK didn't feel it.

It is a shame they didn't postpone your appointment.  I hope you are feeling better now.
Just curious, were patients and staff by any chance wearing masks?

I went to an open house on my street once. The realtor asked which neighbor I was.
