I think we just all wanted to see how they fixed up the hoarder house.

I went to an open house on my street once. The realtor asked which neighbor I was.

DONE - with today's labor.

Each of the 88 keys has been cleaned and reinstalled in the keybed. (I'd removed them a few days ago.) Prior to that, I cleaned every cat hair and dust particle I could out of the "action". It's enough to make you wish you could just chuck it and buy a new keyboard. But that ain't happening for a while.

Tomorrow's task is to carefully clean the circuit board for the key contacts, and clean and inspect every one of those 88 contact points. Actually, there are only four or five bad notes that were the dealbreaker when it came to performing on this one. If I succeed in restoring those ... I win. We'll know by tomorrow evening.

I refuse to let them do my hand anymore, it just hurts too much and leaves me with a bruise.  Fortunately they rarely want to use my hand.

My arm never works. I always have to use my hand.
