We have to fly soon for a memorial service. I don't want to fly.  My DH is so sweet, though. He said if I can't get on the plane to get back, he'll come back and get the car and drive me home.

That is very sweet.  I didn't realize flying is hard for you.

I'm not crazy about flying, but I'm ok with it.

It's just .... recently.

We’ve reached the “if we can’t drive there we’re not going” stage.

We had a nice time today, but it’s still not my favorite way to experience dinner OR theatre.  And musicals performed to recorded music lack a certain snap.

Stopped at a Lebanese restaurant I have wanted to try for a long time. Having a chicken shawarma wrap. Really good.

I know. I feel that way. But it's my husband's brother's daughter. The first one in the family (except for his parents) to pass. My daughter's age.

The doctor’s appointment went well. Don’t need to see him for a year.

Excellent :)

DR Laura how long is the flight?

To Chicago -- then a puddle jumper.

Puddler jumpers aren't fun but at least they are short.  My issue is that I am more likely to get air sick.

Yes, you need to go to this one.  It will be hard.  Are your children going with you?

I was going to say, toodle-loo, cockatoo. But someone hopped in instead.

Starting a bowling movie called The Gutter. How can you resist a movie with the tagline, “America’s 15th most popular pastime just got dangerous “?

That series sometimes surprises me with how its stories work themselves out.

And I know it will of course never happen, but I'd love to see a spinoff with that character (and the actress playing her) who was a therapist ten years ago but decided to abandon it.

Now waiting for the new episode of THE PITT to start streaming, which will be later this evening.  It's pretty rare that I'm so interested in a streaming show's cliffhanger that I'm so looking forward to the new episode to "drop," where the writers are going with the plot development.  THE PITT had a plot turn near the end of last week's episode that was really intriguing.
