The original Sunday in the Park with George had spectacular design.

Agreed!

I saw the national tour of Sunday... at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, and they used the sets from the 2008 Broadway production.  It was all quite beautiful!

I saw Sunset Blvd. on Broadway and that set was amazing!  I've seen so many incredible sets over the years (even from local shows) that I can't remember which were better than others. ::)

DR CHAS SMITH - sometimes when I am wearing a headset that is heard by all of the crew.....I now and then say:  "Sir, this is a Wendy's."

UPDATE:

I do NOT have to schlep to almost-Yonkers to play Into the Woods. That was a last-minute substitution and their original person, who'd been dealing with an emergency, can do it.

It's actually a bit of a relief getting next week back, even though I now don't get to break my 3-Shows-in-March record. (March is the most likely month for setting musical theeder records.)

Good news, ChasSmith!

Jack peacefully passed away this morning.

I'm so sorry, John. :( At least, he had a peaceful passing.

Ginny, I posted a couple of days ago that I ran away from home because we had to have a home repair. I let my DH take care of it. I can't take the stress.

You do whatcha gotta do!

I've been reading that if you were born before 1989 you need a measles booster, which is why I have been a bit concerned my boys only had one vaccination.  I just realized that our good pediatrician should have given them boosters.  Since I still have their records I double checked.  To my relief they did get the second doses, one in '89 and the other in '90.

What??  I was born before 1989 but I don't remember if I ever got a measles booster. :-\

The doctor’s appointment went well. Don’t need to see him for a year.

That's great, John.

We have to fly soon for a memorial service. I don't want to fly.  My DH is so sweet, though. He said if I can't get on the plane to get back, he'll come back and get the car and drive me home.

That is very sweet.  I didn't realize flying is hard for you.

I'm not crazy about flying, but I'm ok with it.

It's just .... recently.

We’ve reached the “if we can’t drive there we’re not going” stage.

I know. I feel that way. But it's my husband's brother's daughter. The first one in the family (except for his parents) to pass. My daughter's age.

Oh, no!  I'm so sorry, Laura.

For the second line, though, I learned it as "In a while, crocodile."

I never liked, "After a while."  It has an extra syllable that doesn't work...but that's just me.

Not sure where to go from here, but am stopping the radiation therapy.

Will leave everything up to fate now, as I have hit my breaking point.

But at least now you know!

Here's a pick-me-up: Audra, Danny and a lovely Joy Woods in Together Wherever We Go.

Great clip!  I'm surprised that they used a filmed clip for a daytime talk show, though.
