This is very interesting, DR JRand.  Having spent a lot of time in the 1950s and ‘60s in Indianapolis, I probably saw FF on TV at some point.  And, I attended 2 family funerals at Conkle’s in Speedway - my grandmother’s in 1987 and my mother’s cousin’s in 2001.

So far - I picked up two important envelopes, did my banking, which was very quick, although my nice gal at the bank seemed a little out of sorts - she was very nice, but not as jovial today.

I came home, ordered a personal pizza from a jernt called Napoli's - I'd had it in the early days of the pandemic and I gave it a great Yelp review. But it wasn't that good, really.

Around 2:30 the tv suddenly went on with the screen saying welcome.

Great.  In the last two days I have had a total of fours hours of sleep.

I was up late uploading the next thrilling edition of my magazine.

I am now on Season 4  of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. I don't know if any DRs watched it in its original run, but I loved Seasons 1 and 2, thought Season 3 had moments with a lousy conclusion, and then I thought Season 4 began poorly, but last night I watched Season 4, Episode 3, and its combination of serious grief and huge, hilarious synagogue fight during a bar mitzvah made me think the series was back on its feet. Then, in Episode 4, Tony Shalhoub, whom I find an irritating actor, made me want to throw rocks at the TV.

On the other hand, I love Jane Lynch, whose character Sophie Tennant from Queens - maybe a parody of aging Fanny Brice - is so outside the parameters of sanity that her every appearance, going further and further into more absurdity and lunacy, is worth the entire episode.

I remember when it first came on that I thought that it was something that I'd like to watch, but then I just never did.
