Mr James Dean was killed in an auto accident near Chalome, CA!

POSSIBLE WILL & GRACE SPOILERS

Oh, I'm sure the show was running on a delay. All live shows now do that in light of fines and censures from the FCC after the Janet Jackson fiasco.

The bleeping did sound weird, so it may indeed have been a local censor in place. I haven't re-watched it yet so I'll be able to study it more closely and even go back and forth with it today. I do want to see it again.

In the airing you have, did Sean Hayes mention the name of a woman's anatomy beginning with the letter 'V"?

For you West Coasters who watched WILL & GRACE, did Debra Messing and Sean Hayes break up during their "eyebrow" scene for you the way they did for us? Very curious about that.

They did break up in that scene. And after your desription last night, I was wondering if they actually did do the show twice, or if it was just a rebroadcast of the East Coast performance.  A couple of the "out of character" moments felt like things people would do when they've done something too many times.

I think I have that FOREVER YOUNG DVD as well DR MATTH.  I got a new one this year with some new interviews with his cousins in Fairmont that are interesting.  I had never seen an interview with his older "girl" cousin, but had seen Mark interviewed a few times.

We have of course visited the museum and the cemetery and driven by the farm several times.  Interesting to see....and it looks much the same as it did when Jim lived there.  The old school was scheduled to be torn down a few years ago, so I don't know if it's still standing or not.

That James Dean DVD I have in my Friday Media Check is a documentary that collects his early film and TV performances and which got GREAT reviews at Sundance or one of the other festivals where it played. I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

And speaking of wind.

The first time we visited the cemetery, I was sitting in the car with the driver's door open - and there was not a hint of breeze, nor were we parked on a hill....my sister was taking one last photo of the headstone, and the door SLAMMED shut.  I said, "Let's go.  Either Jimmy wants us to leave or he's going with us."

Spooky - as Dame Edna would say.

Ahh....different way to make money from Dean....I will have to look for it.  I have MOST of his early television work on some P.D. DVD's.  8)

What a beautiful morning here in New York City. 56 degrees and sunny with the bluest skies I think I've ever seen. Just gorgeous! If only the weather could stay like this for Wednesday!

MBarnum: I really enjoyed "Mildred Pierce." The cinematography was GORGEOUS - the use of shadow and light was amazing. Ms. Crawford was splendidly over-the-top and Ms. Veda was just evil. "With this money I can get away from you. From you and your chickens and your pies and your kitchens and everything that smells of grease. I can get away from this shack with its cheap furniture. And this town and its dollar days, and its women that wear uniforms and its men that wear overalls." Boy! When Mildred spun on her heels, growled out "VEDA!" (I wanted her to follow that with "Bring me the axe!") and followed her up the stairs to give her a good smack, the whole place burst into applause. Of course, when Veda gave her a good one in return, the roof blew off the place for all the shouts of disbelief, horror and approval.

Butterfly McQueen was a hoot as the hired help and Eve Arden - well! She was just wonderful. "Leave something on me - I might catch cold!"

I tell ya, I'm loving my Thursday nights at the movies with Ben & Anthony. Good company, classic movies and good laughs - all for $6! You can't beat that in NYC.

One thing I did find myself wondering through the whole movie - how did Joan get those two teardrops to stay right there under her eyes without running down her cheeks? Now THAT'S acting!

I've heard from Paradise, but I've never heard from me.

No news is good news, so everything seems to be going well for Granny. The last I heard from my parents was yesterday afternoon, and they swore they'd call if anything happened, so that's good. My mom seems fairly convinced that this is not the old girl's last hurrah, so we'll see. I was very disappointed to hear that my cousin, Craig, wouldn't go into the room to see her when he stopped by the hospital. Honestly, though, I wouldn't have expected much more out of him. Still - if I had the chance to see her, I would. You'd think he'd do the same.

And after that long spiel, thanks for asking, Vixmom.

I sort of look stoned in this new avatar, don't I? It's not the clearest of photos, but...why do I look like I've just taken a hit off a huge bong? Not enough mascara, perhaps...

Thanks for the heads up on the LP, MR BK.  Wish I had money.

Very interesting meeting for you last night.  I wonder if his father knew you were going to be there?

Did you have to identify yourself to the limo driver....did he think you were James?

Wow. What a crazy first episode.  I am wondering how long we will be without vaughn.  Since he is still in the credits, and since I am assuming he is staying, are they simply faking his death?  Hopefully he will be back on next week, since i'm thinking most alias fans will be freaking out pretty bad after watching the funeral!

any thoughts?

Saw it.  Something about the photography was very different, haven't figured out exactly what yet.

SPOILER ALERT:

And there was a blonde at the computer; were we supposed to know who it was?
