Sydney came through with flying colors - no one knew she was sick. I could hear the nasal stuff and she was careful on the songs, but boy did she nail the money note on I Like Him. We did raise the mic level a bit.

We had about fifty-three - but if I could bottle these particular fifty-three and play every show to them, I would. An amazing audience, with the show from lights up right to the end. HUGE laughs throughout and really hefty mitts and cheers for the numbers.

Our recording Bob was there - Jason Graae - and he loved it. Actress Elaine Heylveil was with this - I adore her - you've probably seen her in something - just imdb her. But I knew lots o' folks and the comments after were lovely. I did run backstage to tell Sydney how proud I was of her.

Hopefully, she can power through the last two shows. She can sleep in, rest and relax tomorrow, so that's good.

I've been told my any number of Group Rep members that they think this is the best production the theater has ever done.

Very good news, BK!

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

And we got the final news that we'll be doing the show I've been mentoring for the past two years either in mid-January or very early February. We'll go into rehearsal in early November so we allow plenty of time for the holidays. It's a really interesting two-act play with music - twelve songs, I think - it's very funny but its themes have a serious undertone.

It gives a bit of history of the original movie, too.

And in other news:

Former Rep. George Santos sentenced to more than 7 years in prison

The former Republican congressman criticized the judge’s sentence on social media and called on President Donald Trump to intervene.
