Interesting posts last night, George!

Will you be going with the show to WorldCon?

Of course!  I'm running the sound board and projections, and I wouldn't miss this!

Topic of the Day:  I'm not a fan of clam chowder, or clams in general. :P

I like clams, and have even been known to drop a couple when playing a show.  <rimshot!>   Thank you.

BUT SERIOUSLY, FOLKS...

I don't know why I don't think to have it very often, but yes to clam chowder. New England would be the standard, but I finally got around to trying Manhattan a few years ago. And maybe that was a particularly good one, but it was wonderful, too.

And while I'm thinking about it - it's been a long time since I've had steamed clams, but a good bucket of steamers can be a wonderful thing.

Apple has issued a warning for iPhone users to remover google chrome.

That's somewhat alarming!

Keith isn't concerned so I'm not, for now.

The best New England clam chowder was at the Red Lion Inn (not the chain) in Stockbridge, MA.  We had a perfect stay there when the autumn colors were at the peak of their brilliance.

I love The Red Lion. Used to eat there a lot. It was always a treat.

A bucket of steamers is paradise. Linguine with white or red clam sauce is heaven-sent bliss. Clam chowder of any sort is always welcome.

I remember on the first season of SNL, there was a sketch of a TV show called Bad clams. Every week they would feed a guest bad clams and watch the reaction. That week, it was Lucille Ball(it was either Gilda or Laraine). She ate the bad clams snd started her classic Lucy wailing. It was quite funny.

Lucky you.  We had plans to return but then we moved from Conneticut back to Michigan and Keith cancelled them :(

I had to look up 8647, and lol the first thing that comes up is a Newsmax story saying “Left using 8647 to incite violence.”

Any symbol or group people try to rally around is going to quickly be branded as a terrorist threat.

Wow.  86 as in toss out, and the 47th. I had no idea about the other meaning of 8647.

I'm glad I remembered to ask him.  You would think he would have shouted that out to me except he can barely speak.

DR Jrand we took your advice and got a new tv for our guest room.  On top of thinking about getting it before the prices go up, we are hoping if we watch tv in there we might not fall asleep.

Woke up at one, had food soon thereafter and been relaxing ever since then dozed off.
