DR Ginny and DR JosePiano relax on the subway....at this point we had the subway car all to ourselves as we had evidently scared the other commuters away.

No, Best Buy didn't even have it (or any of the other Val Lewtons)! What is up with that??! Sometimes that store is not all it should be. They also did not have the new Race Gentry release MEN IN WAR  >:(

Tonight on Animal Planet!  The Eukanaba Dog Show.

One of the winners in the non-working class is a Shar-Pei who is a cousin of the late Miss Holly!  I am sure Gone Hollywood would have gone on to a great career, if she hadn't had her tail broken as a puppy!

:)

That's cool!  I would have no way of knowing who Bear or Brandi's family was, even if I walked right by them!

Well, I have no doubt that Holly was an award winner anyhow!!

By request (DR Rodzinski's) here I am in my brand new Kurta which I purchased in Little India. This one is rather plain and used for wearing around the house and out shopping (though probably NOT in Salem, Oregon). It is most comfortable to wear.

I might even spring for a fancier one someday!!

My Report on the B/K-less Hainesy/Kimlet gathering of 5 October 2005, Part Quatre:

Unfortunately, when we got to the Subway, the New York Theatre Police arrested Jason on an outstanding warrent of Scenery Chewing.

We had to go to the Central Park Zoo to bail him out.

And that pick was taken at Russ & Daughters on Houston, a practical institution on the Lower East Side.  -And a favorite of Martha Stewart and her family for many, many years.

John's Pizzeria

...And if that pic had been taken slightly earlier in the dinner and from a different angle, you would have seen Stephanie D'Abruzzo and Ann Harada from Avenue Q dining at the table next to us.

Alas... Sad, but true.

;)

However, I do believe he earned a for more EMC points towards his Equity card in the process.

Ohh...

And the iPod was not to be.  I was actually thinking of getting the 4G Nano, but they were out of them.  They only had the 2G in White in stock.  I guess it was not que sera.

*However, I'm sensing that I will most likely splurge on one at Christmas as a gift to myself.  And by that time, the next generation of iPods is supposed to be released too.

**And it didn't hit me until today, that the iPod Nano replaced the iPod mini.  So, no more choice of colors - unless you get the sleeves.  Ah, well...

***I also sense that once I do buy one, it will most not likely get as much use as it "should".   I really do like listening to the radio during the day whether at home or in my car.

****So... I may not buy one after all.

As my tape ended, I started to rewind....and what would be on TCM but WEST SIDE STORY.....the dance at the gym.

In spite of its much discussed short comings and controversies....I love this movie.

Not wanting to beat a dead horse (what am I saying, of course, I want to beat a dead horse), what are the short comings and controversies in WEST SDIE STORY?   Other than the fact that almost no one actually sings in the film, I thought everyone loved it?
