I LOOKED UP INTELIUS on complaints.com and WHAT FOLLOWS IS A SAMPLE OF WHAT SOMEONE WROTE...

"Background report and National Criminal check Intelius.com.

I paid $69.90 for a Background report and a Criminal check on myself and received information that was over 10yrs old! In those ten yrs I have been married, divorced, owned two homes and unfortunately had some legal trouble. None of this information was found nor provided. An incredible rip-off!

I contacted Intelius by phone and was told there was nothing I could do to get a refund, nor were the promised return calls provided.

I have reported them to several rip-off websites, contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint and will continue to file grievances with as many places as I can until this company is removed from the market!

Do not purchase anything from Intelius.com!!! You will be ripped off!

Good morning!

Another beautiful Carolina morning, and my walk was perfect - not too hot nor too cold. The other moring, I could see my breath, but it was in the low 60s this morning as I walked.

For Ask BK Day -

What are your least favorite movies from Hitchcock's Hollywood period onward?

The ones most people seem to dislike - TORN CURTAIN, THE PARADINE CASE, STAGE FRIGHT - I rather like.

I don't like (at all) UNDER CAPRICORN, and I have mixed-to-negative feelings about TOPAZ, MARNIE, FAMILY PLOT and SUSPICION.

I find the lengthy distribes and rationaizations about MARNIE's excellence to be especially amusing.

DR Ron, so glad you enjoyed THE V.I.Ps, and that it played OK in your DVD player. I'm always happy to make DVDs for folks, but I'm always worried that other people's DVD players won't be compatible with the DVDs I can make.

I didn't make a DVD cover for your disc because I don't have the soundtrack LP and figured you did and could scan the cover and make a reduced size version for the DVD.

I can sympathize with the nervous woman from the car incident yesterday. It's been so many years since I've had any kind of dust-up with my car and another (since high school) that I'd probably freak out too.

I noticed that the Val Lewton films from that boxed set are being shown tonight on TCM, and since I haven't purchased that set as yet, I'm going to record every one of them and save to disc the ones that I like and that look OK. I'll miss out on the special features, but for now, these will have to do.

But to do that, I've got to get everything cleared off the DVR today to be sure to have room for those films and the two network TV-HD shows I'll be recording tonight: VERONICA MARS and LAW & ORDER.

Carolina in the Morning

Lyrics: Walter Donaldson   Music: Gus Kahn

Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina
In the morning
Nothing could be sweeter than my sweetie when I meet her
In the morning.

Where the morning glories twine around the door,
Whispering pretty stories I long to hear once more.

Strollin' with my girlie where the dew is pearly, early
In the morning.
Butterflies all flutter up and kiss each little buttercup
At dawning.

If I had Aladdin's lamp For only a day,
I'd make a wish and here's what I'd say:

Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina
In the morning.

Morning, all!

Funny thing.

I forced myself to get up this morning 'cause normally getting ready for work and doing all the routine ablutions actually picks up my spirits and makes me feel tolerable enough to overcome my ailments.

Not this morning.

The more I did, the sicklier I got.  I now realize I have more than just sinus ails...I have a full-blown head cold, and it's afflicting other...err...umm...."regions" of my body, too.

Can you say YUCK?

Sorry to read this. After suffering through my first "little" illness of the season last week, I can sympathize with you. Hope you feel better.

DR Rodzinski:  I wasn't reading too closely when I read your report on Intelius.com, and I have to say you became an enigma to me...wrapped up in a mystery...and were quickly becoming a figure of fascination...until I read the sign-off...and then noted it was a complaint you were copying from that site.

Oh, well.

~~~~  Feel better vibes to DR RLP.
Well Lois Nettleton takes the acting honors such as they are in COME FLY WITH ME aka THE FRIENDLIEST GIRLS IN TOWN....close second is nun-to-be Dolores Hart who smokes a mean cigarette blowing smoke out her nose.  Pamela Tiffen is beautiful but just can't act very well.  Great red dress though!
 I thought  "Hallelujah" was the full name....... hmmm
haven't seen it in years.... I think it was on AMC back when AMC still had Bob Dorian and no commercials and showed true  American Movie Classics not  Porky's II or whatever else they show these days in the five minute  movie breaks between the 20 minute commercial marathons.... >:(.
 ooh that was rather a stream of consiousness wasn't it?  ::)  :D
