One thing I noticed about films made in Technicolor around 1952-53 like LOVELY TO LOOK AT, THE BAND WAGON, TORCH SONG, and LILI. Before they were remastered or restored, every one of them had blue light shimmers that were present during the movie. Didn't happen constantly, but it did happen in all of them. Is that some print damage or Technicolor registration problem or age damage of some kind, or has it always been there even when the films were new?
On the BAND WAGON laserdisc, it's there, but on the restored BAND WAGON DVD, it's not there any more.
