Good Evening! Good Morning!
-Almost five hours of auditions straight, in a row - just one five minute break at 3:00. Whew! A pretty good turnout, and there were actually some decent folks today. -And there were also some "scary" folks there today too. Gotta love 'em.
-Then it was off to a brief dinner with Stuart. -Sorry DR Jason for "abandoning" you. And DR elmore - yes, I know, I owe you a phone call. -And, no, the reading of Tale of Two Cities was not at Ripley-Grier - unless they had it listed under the producer's name (which sometimes happens).
-Then headed back uptown to the apartment. Packed up the car with the stuff I needed to bring back - including my cooking and baking supplies!
-Then the drive. Uneventful for the most part. There were some strange traffic closures right after Baltimore - three of four lanes closed for work. And the traffic just stopped too for some unknown, unseen reason.
-Made it back home in just about four and a half hours - not bad. Car is unpacked. I'm all brushed and flossed. And since I have rehearsal in six and a half hours...
OH! It looks like I may be on the National Press Club luncheon broadcast this Saturday. Molly Smith, the artistic director of Arena Stage, will be the speaker, and they will be featuring a few excerpts from Damn Yankees. I may or may not be at the keys. -In any case, I know I'm in for a good lunch - they really do have a wonderful food service operation there. So...
Where was I? Oh, yes...
Liaiso...
Umm...
Oh...
Goodnight.
*I shall catch up on the Notes and Posts in the morning and/or evening.
