Well, you've read the notes, you know why it's a lovelier than lovely Thursday, and now it is time for you to post until the 58 cows come home - they're doing the LIMBO right now.

I was surfing the web and came across this graphic image.  I don't exactly know what it's about, but it has something to do with "THE 58TH YEAR OF ANY LIFE.. from the 57th to 58th Birthday"

I have always preferred that pronunciation of frappe.

Feel better, Bruce, and have some really good cake.

Hoepfully, there are 58 exclamation points there.

Good morning, all.  I'm up early to do some work on the holiday concert charts, and then I head off to Toyland for a few hours.

In the immortal words of Glen MacDonough and Victor Herbert:
"At the first cool sip
On your fevered lip,
You determine to live through the day
Life's again worthwhile
As with dawning smile
You imbibe your absinthe frappe!"

February came and with it came Valentine's Day.  Benjamin gave out lots of Valentine's Day cards and lots of candy hearts, and he got lots of cards and candy hearts in return but, since he didn't really have a special valentine, he wondered what the point was.

Did Benjamin know that Corinne Calvet who bought the magazine subscription from him was the daughter of the man who invented Pyrex?

Happy Birthday to you , Bruce!!!!!  How wonderful that we are all here and celebrating this day.

Happy Birthday, too, to Rick Mason (who is at least here in my head.. and heart)

I'm throwing you THE wildest birthday party today... in my head.  You're having a lot of fun already!

I think Jack probably already gave the best present in his post above.

Today, I shall dance; I shall eat and sing; I shall liquify, and because it's your birthday, I shall FRAPPE!!!

Happy Day, Sweetie!!!!

Good morning!

It's cold and overcast here, and they're calling for a "winter mix" to begin later this afternoon. Doesn't seem cold enough for anything but rain (it's 37 now), but of course the temps could drop.

At any rate, I have a lunch date but otherwise I'll be inside for rest of the day.

One of the DVD sets I got yesterday was the second season of MURDER SHE WROTE, so I may settle in with some of those episodes today. If not today, then definitely tomorrow.

I do have LAW & ORDER and CSI: NY from last night recorded on the DVR to get to today as well. We'll see how the afternoon goes.
