MR BK - I hope when you buy the paper plates, napkins, utensils - you go the whole WAY and get decorated ones....the themes don't have to match, but decorations are a must.

Well, I don't have the written acceptance (they're faxing it either tonight or tomorrow) but the sellers have stated that they will sign my counter offer....so....unless they change their minds over night or the inspection shows something I'm totally unaware of....this is my new house!

GRJose, Jack Noseworthy is out of LESTAT!  I told you.

Yes, yes...Details!

I just read the article on Playbill.com and noticed that Drew Sarich is the understudy who will take over the part.  He was in the German cast of Alan Menken and Stephen Schartz's The Huchback of Notre Dame, which I love!

Did my huge shopping for the partay.  All that's left to buy is fresh Parmesan cheese for the spaghetti and bread, both of which I'll pick up tomorrow night.

Reading the Jack Noseworthy spin borders on nauseating.  The director LOVED working with him and thinks he's brilliant, Jack LOVED being part of the creative process and contributing, but the character is being taken in "a different direction."  What does that MEAN?  The character is based on a character from the book - what direction could they be taking it in?  Either there were creative differences, they're downsizing the role, or someone wasn't happy.  Just say it and be done with it.

Didn't I have Drew Sarich on an album?  Sounds very familiar to me - maybe The Paul Simon Album?

Thanks George! The camera angle makes it look a lot bigger than it is, but it is a cool place and I am very excited to be the proud owner of a house with a turret

Yup.  He sang "Bernadette."  I totally forgot about that.  I always assumed that he was German...and that everyone else in the Hunchback cast was, also.  My bad. :)

Raced me there DR George.  It is my least favourite BK album - and I love Paul Simon's work!!
For me it just did not work! But I do love the Guy Haines track and I love The Capeman's song. (But then I think the score from the show is brilliant)

The Simon album was the most controversial I ever did (save for the Dame Edna track), but I stand by most of it.  His songs are just so peculiar to he alone and he and Garfunkel, that it's just difficult to present them any other way and have people like them.  While I dislike a few of the tracks for various reasons, I'm fond of many of them, especially Amanda McBroom's Still Crazy After All These Years, Jane Krakowski's Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover, Tami Tappan's track (can't remember the name), and Jose Llana's America, to name a few.

I, too, liked several things in The Capeman score - not all of it, but I thought there was a lot of first-rate material there.  The show, unfortunately, was just wretched.  The set was great, and the sound was the best I've ever heard in the theater (Simon brought in Roy Halee, his long-time engineer, to mic the band and figure out the blends).

Lovely house, Cillaliz!

Shortly I shall be on my way to sup with Miss Tammy Minoff, and then it's rehearsal, after which I shall return.

I could never see the problem with the Dame Edna track. The Sondheim Review stuff (I think that was where it was)was ridiculous!

I'm still waiting for a BK produced album of Randy Newman songs. That's what I want for Christmas.
"Marie" is one of the loveliest of all the Guy Haines tracks.

I LOVED the Dame Edna track!  I saw her in Seattle a few years ago and it was one of the funniest shows that I've ever seen. ;D

Wow - it's a CASTLE!!!  Love the style....the turret and the chimney are wonderful.  A great decision, DR CILLALIZ!!!

But you must NAME it right away.

A remember do not take an old broom into your new house!  Buy a new broom and a box of salt!!

Alright it is official.... in the interest of non-denominational celebrations I will NOT be sending Christmas cards this year... I will be sending New Year's cards...

It is a statement for peace and unity and celebration of an event we all share and should not in any way be considered an indication that I might be disorganized or behind schedule in getting my Christmas  and Hannukah cards out on time

;D I simply didn't get mine all out.  The main reason is I lost track of who I sent them to. Every time I set my cards and address someplace to work on them I had to move and make space for the workmen.  It just became too confusing. ::)

:)

Jose good travel vibes in January! You will need them with the high risk of snow on the east coast and of fog in San Francisco.

Good vibes to Jason’s HHW angel.

Jennifer your medical system is so different than here.  We would have a regular pediatrician for the baby.  Thank goodness you were feeling better and able to care for your sister and your niece.

Matt H the banks are closed on Monday.

Cillaliz, Good vibes you will soon be living in your beautiful new home with a turret.
