If you can make the cost back in ticket sales - just find 40 people willing to pay $1,000 a ticket and the rest is profit.

Well, THAT was a piece of cake. Who knew it could be so easy. I was expecting to be pouring through hours of on-line help documents, and here it installed itself the first time. Plug and play actually worked for a change!

Now, if this keyboard could ONLY make me a better typist!

OK, so now that I know things are working properly and I can get around as usual, I'll log off and get to cleaning the bedroom areas. I'm a day behind in my cleaning chores. Argh!

Back from lunch.  The Holden Wild Bunch hat is very cool.  I'll take a photograph of it on Sunday and post it.

Spoke to the actor, who was, as some actors are wont to be, defensive - I think he finally heard me, though, and we'll see how tonight goes.

Spoke to the publicist and now have a better feeling for how he's handling the show.

And a very happy birthday to Craig Brockman.  If his birthday had been on our haineshisway.com calendar then it would have been in the notes.

I'll be logging off now to install the wireless keyboard and mouse I got for Christmas. I'll be back later to try it all out (if successful with the installation.)

Found the post!  Very exciting!

I am just about to curl up with my homemade spaghetti and meatballs and watch the Y&R Christmas episode.

My sis called and her husband is very sick coughing like crazy. And my sis is really tired.  I almost went over. But it is supposed to snow 5cm this evening. And I hate driving when there is snow on the road.  And unfortunately her house is one major long road away.  And it is the worst when it is snow covered.  Anyhow my sis said she'd be okay. And i said i'd go over tomorrow so she could rest.

My 3 month old niece just started doing the cutest thing.  She laughs hysterically, but without the noise.  If you bounce her or come up with some other fun thing she enjoys she just cracks up. And it makes anyone holding her laugh so hard, that she laughs more. :)

Thanks to all for the birthday greetings!!!
Haineshiswaydotcom is truly an egalitarian web site.  Even Wussburgers get their birthday party.

And speaking of Wussburgers,

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. CRAIG BROCKMAN!![/move]

My birthday had an inauspicious beginning.  At 1:00 am, I noticed we had no hot water.  Went to the basement and found the fuel-oil tank was empty.  No furnace, no heat.

I called our fuel-oil man Kenny, of whom I posted some pictures here a few months ago, and left a message.  Left a message for the furnace man.  Furnace man called back and said he would be here first thing in the morning and advised us to "bundle up".   :-\

Well, I managed to sleep as the house went down to 58 degrees, but Joe was up worrying till I got up at 7, and then he went to bed.

The upshot was that the furnace man brought over 15 gallons, I called Kenny back and discovered he has moved to Connecticut!!

Running the business had gotten too much for him with a new wife and child to support and dead-beat customers and all, so he sold it to another established company here.  They did have someone over in under an hour, so we got our heat back up.  But Kenny will be missed.

The nice thing about a cold house is you get a lot of birthday hugs!!   ;D ;D

I am pretty sure I would like Target, but I do not think there are any of them here.  Also, I'm not sure if we still have any Kmarts. We used to have a few, but they have all closed.

I don't love Walmart, but mostly because it is always so crowded in their parking lot!  And I don't really like to grocery shop there (since i like to check out the circulars and try to buy what's on sale).

I have a great diet for everyone.  Get sick for 3 weeks! :)

Actually I'm not sure how much weight I lost.  But I truly needed it.

At least there is one good thing that came out of this illness.

....the strangulation death of a heartthrob movie star and the shooting death of a Laotian laundry worker. Very enjoyable.

Strangulation and a shooting is "very enjoyable?"  What is this world coming to?  And at holiday time, too!

I shall shortly be on my way to rehearsal.  Pray for Rosemary's Baby.  I do hope my actor has taken our conversation to heart and that we'll be able to start getting the performance we need, and getting it in a way that he can lock.

I thought i would pop in for a quick momnet.  I have almosrt all the groceries in I need for Christmas dinner... since it is also my brother's birthday I had to order a calke  which I will get tomorrow as well as some more milk which we never seem to be able to keep in the house!

I am still wrappiong presents and have just been advised that an aunt we didn;t think was coming  now IS coming ... she's gonna get a  Whitman Sampler... I've got no time to shop for anything else!

and if the grocery store is out of WShitman samplers she may find herself the receipient of a can of peas or a loaf of bread bedcasue I'll be hornswaggled if I am going to brave the department stores tomorrow!!!!

Well, since I enjoyed the second season of MURDER SHE WROTE on DVD over the past week, I watched an episode from the Biography Channel. This one co-starred George Maharis, Kim Hunter, and the late Carrie Hamilton. I had only a vague memory of having seen the show as I watched it tonight, but as the conclusion got nearer, I remembered the identity of the killer.

Then, I watched THE FIVE PENNIES on DVD. I was astonished by the quality of the DVD transfer especially its startling sharpness. It gives me great hopes that the upcoming new release of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S will be equally as stunning.

After THE FIVE PENNIES was concluded, I put back in the first season disc of CSI: NY and watched what was their second telecast episode (but the third one filmed). The team had a track down a rat that had eaten a bullet which was evidence in a crime scene. Fun!
