Hmmmm..should it be a Shirley Temple movie??

Or maybe an old Bela Lugosi film! Or a Hammer horror flick.

Or maybe a Blondie movie...haven't watched one of those in a long time.

Oh I just bid on a Kurta for $1.04!  Maybe I will get it!  Interesting selection on EBAY...although several of them are PY-jammies!

DR Ron Pulliam - Did you snag an extra Playbill? ;)

*And is my name listed in the staff listing? -under "Rehearsal Pianists"?

Ummm...sorry, but no.  To both questions.

As for Carmello, I believe she was out just for this matinee.

High Point and Low Points -

High Point - Above all else, (finally) changing Jed's title from DR to DB :D :D

Low Point - Losing my nanny job back in March.

High Point - Finding my current job and getting promoted to a lead infant teacher.

Low Point - Dealing with the stress and bulls!@t that went along with that promotion.

High Point - Taking an impromtu trip to Reno over 4th of July weekend with DB Jed.  Neither of us had ever been, and it was a blast.  Truly one of the tackiest places we'd ever seen, but fun to experience.

High Point - Meeting the wonderful HHW folk at the Portland gathering.  Such grand and glorious times were had.

Low Point - Still being in the same apartment.  We need more space...

High Point - Spending my first Christmas bouncing back and forth between Jed's family and mine, having a marvelous time at each place.

Low Point - Having the transmission go out in my beloved old Plymouth Acclaim.

High Point - Getting a new (to me) 1996 Toyota Camry.  I'll pick it up a week from today :)

This really has been a good year, looking back.  Thank you all for brightening it with the entertaining, wonderful, and amusing goings on around this here site.

So at one point I'm trying to explain to someone about the Last Starfighter CD, getting blank looks throughout the description, no recognition of the film's title, even the fact that it was Robert Preston's last film gets a quiet "Uh huh" - then I mention that it's on Bruce Kimmel's label, and I finally get some enthusiasm out of this person.  Lesson learned: mention Bruce's name early.

Oops, forgot a High Point - Seeing Sweeney Todd for DB Jed's birthday at the 5th Avenue in Seattle.  An amazing production, particularly the Sweeney himself.

Thank you, DR Ron, for the detailed review/report on LESTAT. Sounds very promising and I wish the production team and company well as thge run continues in SF and then on to Broadway!

Does the Playbill have the show's logo on it? I'm not sure I've seen the logo.

They're showing SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE repeats.  Poor Ashlee Simpson can neither sing on pitch nor offer much comedy timing.

Just one hour until 2006.  I think I'll stop doing the Lambada (The Forbidden Dance) and perhaps do... the LIMBO!  Now in Nike shorts and a haineshisway.com what is it fish t-shirt.

I thought the Vatican said that LIMBO didn't exist any more.

Isn't it now Limbo (The Forbidden Subject)?

Back from our New Years Eve gathering which was very nice because we were with some of our nearest and dearest friends, but I'm with you, TCB...New Year's Eve has always beenmy least favourite holiday and it has always been that way for me since high school.  The Lovely Wife and I usually curl up with videos and never go out.  I made an exception tonight for the people we were with who I love to be around.

Elmore, I plan to see Mrs. Henderson Presents soon.  I believe pal June Wilkinson go her start at the Windmille when she was a mere slip of a girl (was she ever a slip of a girl?) at 15.

Happy New Year Still To Come to the West Coast contingent.  Don't watch poor Dick Clark, unless you're a bit ghoulish.
