*I did overhear some people talking at the reception... They were asking where their friends went.  Someone said they went home right after the show.  Apparently, they were bored the whole time.  Bored?  Hmm...  I think it's very safe to say that there's no way you could be bored while watching this production.

...Just such a weird comment to hear, that's all.

And like I said a few days ago, I may head out to LA in February for a few days, but I'm still waiting for the rest of my Lestat schedule.

BK - If you still have iMovie woes... Just go online, and make a Genius Bar appointment at the Apple Store.  Go in, and present your problem/question... "I'm still trying to figure out how to edit these two clips..."

Oh... And the "command performance" at the Kennedy Center on Monday has been called off.  Turns out that due to the space they'll be using for the reception - and some other pre-arranged entertainment - there's no room for a pianist and a singer.  Ah, well...

It's OK, actually.  I was planning on heading down to Richmond anyway - and since Mondays are my only days off... I like to keep them "off".

Back from a very long day.  I need to wind down - I've caught up on all the posts, though.  Just what up was doing on all the posts is anyone's guess.  I shall relax for a mo, then write the notes, which will be up by 12:30, I suspect.

I was trying to make some sort of comment/joke with the above post, but I lost my way along the way.

OH!!

And we found out tonight that North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA, will also be doing Damn Yankees during their upcoming 2006 season.  However, they've received special permission to alter the show, and make it about the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.  And the production will be presented in conjunction with the Boston Red Sox organization.  Apparently, all the contracts have been signed, and there's even an official "Red Sox Edition" of the script being put together.

DR Jason - Have you heard anything about this?

And I just checked out www.nsmt.org, and, sure enough, it's opening their season.

Gee, Jose!

You say "meet-the-cast reception" and all you think about is food and drinks!

It's always about the food.

Well, I had planned to get bed "earlier" tonight, but...

Better late than later.  ;)

Goodnight.

Right now, I'm listening to the songs from the "Song of the South" LP that François posted a link to.  It's all of 35 minutes long.  Sound is pretty good, though.  Thanks for the link. ;D I'll have my own CD when the DVD is (supposed to be) released later this year. ;)
