I suppose I shall now toddle off to the bedroom environment.  But, I leave you with:  "To commit suicide in Buffalo is redundant."

I must be going, too.  I ache all over from standing all evening...almost six hours with only about a half hour of sitting time, total (not all at once).  I have to usher again tonight, but fortunately, it's just regular ushering.  Just show the people to their seats or take tickets.  None of the stuff I had to do last night. :)

Goodnight, all!

Oooo...that sounds so familiar, but not enough for me to know where it comes from.  But I'm too tired to look it up.  Again, goodnight.

Good morning, all!  Another day in Toyland and the NYPL!  Also, another night of truly bizarre dreams:  waiting at the theatre for my father to pick me up and never arriving.  God knows what's going on in my head, but, Lord, I'd settle for one good night of sleep or one really good erotic dream.

Does it begn with "please, sir . . ."?

How about this one, DR Tomovoz:

OMG DR MattH, I cannot believe that you want to leave a Superbowl party before the game starts. :)

I must say, even if you don't care for football, you might enjoy staying and watching the commercials.  They are so fun and make the time pass quickly.  Also, if your friends have any type of pool where you get a stake in the outcome of each quarter. Well that normally helps most people become involved.

Or just eat, or talk.  Unless the others are sports freaks, it can usually be fun to just hang out and talk.

Me I cannot wait for my sister's SuperBowl party.  I love football and love watching the commercials.  And my little niece will be a bonus!

Good morning, fellow Dear Readers.

I have a busy day ahead. Yesterday was my day in the office. But since I was driving all day, I wasn't there. Now to do a week's worth of work this morning.

This afternoon DR Sandra and I see the tour of "Swan Lake." I'm thrilled, I tell ya. I just can't wait.

Good morning!

It was exceedingly gray when I went out for the newspaper this morning, but the warmth and humidty were off the charts. I thought it was summer again! Temps are supposed to plunge during the day and beginning tomorrow, be in the 40s for highs.

Nope, even if the Panthers had made the Super Bowl, I would only have been maybe 10% interested in it. Just not a football person, and definitely not a gambler of any kind. I'll have plenty of time to talk with the guests upon arrival and during dinner. Arriving at 4 and dinner to be served at 5, so I think two hours is PLENTY of time to spend at such a gathering.

I'd rather be home watching THE PIRATE.

I have been so good with my diet and exercise for the past month or two, but I long, long, long for something like chocolate cake or something else sinfully caloric.

Can the body actually demand that you feed it sugar in large quantities like this? Mine is certainly screaming to me this morning!

DR Matthew, I would have had zero interest in THE WOMAN IN WHITE, but knowing what a great fan of ALW you are, I'm very sorry you aren't going to get to experience it. The article did suggest a US national tour, so maybe you will get a chance to see it.

I mean, if LITTLE WOMEN can tour, . . . .

Hmmm.... DR GEORGE, try unplugging your scanner from the power source and then plugging it back in.  ALSO remove all the photos you may have in your album.

If that doesn't work, and you have the DISK, just re-install your driver, but unplugging it should work.

Sorry, esteemed BK, but I don't think calling it "Fri-night" is such a good idea.  It might give impressionable youngsters the idea that they are supposed to get fried that night.

Snowy Saturday greetings!  Well, that groundhog was right and winter is back.  The rain was changing to snow as I left for the grocery and it's now snowing pretty hard.  Roads aren't bad yet, though.

My sister, her husband, and their daughter are on their way from their 2-week vacation together down south, so some traveling vibes for them would be appreciated.  They, my mother, my aunt, and my mother-in-law will all be here for dinner tonight, so I'd better get that chicken on to simmer, prior to frying!
