I've been in a relationship with a gal called TPunk for nigh 5 years now. I don't know what our secret is, if we have one. We still make each other laugh. That's key.

Maybe we've been through this, but aren't Corn Pops the exact same things that used to be called Sugar Pops?

Yes, FJL, they were SUGAR CORN POPS, then they dropped the SUGAR.

Just as SUGAR SMACKS became just SMACKS and then HONEY SMACKS. At some point it was decided that it was not cool to have Sugar as part of your cereal title.

I am wearing a t-shirt that says "Akron" and some orange pajama pants TPunk made for me for Christmas.

Last night, I saw THE PAJAMA GAME with a high school buddy and a rowdy, noisy audience, while my other half of over 16 years watched the Super Bowl with some rowdy, noisy friends.

Maybe longevity IS in part in understanding that you don't have to do everything together.

I saw KISMET at the New York State Theatre in the 1960s, and it was an eye-popping splashy production with, of course, the original star Alfred Drake. Enjoyed every second of it. Bought the cast album of the Lincoln Center production the next day. Didn't buy the original Broadway cast album until many years later (and then on cassette).

Rodzinski, do you do the basic four-page program that they hand out at the Wednesday dress rehearsal as well as the full Playbill for the regular performances?

I'm pretty sure that if Ben goes on Wednesday, he'll only get the four-pager.

I liked MEDIUM and found its twists and turns again out of the ordinary.

I thought somehow Allison was going to be with the fake Joe at the end instead of the real Joe.

The descriptions of the episode had made it sound as if Allison was going to lose her clairvoyance altogether, but that wasn't the case at all.

I only saw the first half of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, and it was merely pleasant. A telephone conversation ran overtime, and I was playing catch up with the DVR's recording but forgot to save it and lost the show once I flipped over to '24.'

I'll catch the rerun to see how it ended.

Right you are, FJL. Ben will not see my handiwork as it probably won't even be at the theater until late Wed.

Four Lost Souls?  ;D

BTW, DR Jose, I think I asked and you answered before, but I've forgotten. Did this production have Applegate and Lola singing "Two Lost Souls" or Joe and Lola singing it?

Wow...I just read that THE PRODUCERS was at 53% capacity this week while THE WOMAN IN WHITE was at 57%! This does not bode well for Mr. Brooks' titanic musical... I mean, WOMAN IN WHITE is closing on the 19th...

And at this point, The Producers is still running in the black.  Now, if Mssrs. Lane and Broderick were to come back into the show, I'm pretty sure their profit margin might be diminished.  But, then again, if Nathan and Matthew did come back into the show, I'm pretty sure the ticket sales would be running at 101% again.

And I totally forgot to set up COURTING ALEX to be recorded. So, I'll only see it if CBS chooses to rerun it.

Joe and Lola.  The original way.  The way it's supposed to be.  *Our Applegate, Brad Oscar, did not demand another song.

Well... I think I'm about ready to veg out in front of the TV for a bit and then head to bed.  I'm not sure what's on my agenda for tomorrow, but I'm sure I'll end up someplace after I wake up.  ;)

Goodnight.

You're entirely right! Makes no sense for Applegate to sing that song! I never saw the revival and wasn't interested once I heard that cast album.
