MORE MEDIUM SPOILERSI agree, I also really liked last night's episode but thought it had not much to do with the commercials. What was even the point of having the alternate family, I guess to show that she really needed the MRI. Will there be more with the peanut? And I am convinced but Tom doesn't agree that in the "faux" family, the youngest daughter was the same as in her actual family.
Yeah as I said it bothered me that they played that promo so much it had nothing to do with the show.
I agree with Rodzinski, I really think the youngest daughter was the same. Although it was difficult to tell. The oldest daughter was obviously different. The middle one I thought actually looked like the real one but wasn't. But the youngest one really looked like the real one.
And after thinking more about it, I'm glad with the way it ended. At first I was thinking, he's a totally different person, just let it go. But if the thoughts were there in the MRI for her to pick up on, they were still a part of him deep down. And when the wife said that he hated the desert and stayed away, it made me think that maybe the repression of his former life was more psychological than physiological. What if the memories or urges had come back to him some time down the line and he killed his wife and others... all in all a good episode, but I hope that they resolve some of the unresolved peanut questions at some point in the future.
I know that we are supposed to focus on Alison. But I guess it just bothered me that the guy had no memory of what happened, and he was such a good person now that he was willing to help the police. I sort of wanted to know whta would happen with him.
It would have been interesting if the oldest daughter had a peanut too. And I also wonder if they will address that issue again.
