I thought CSI was a repeat last night for some reason so I didn't watch it.... Vixdad tells me I missed a good one. DRAT!

Oh well it will show up in Spike eventually.

Yes, it was a new episode, and as I mentioned last night, different from the usual show in that a reality TV crew was following them around and half the episode was footage they had filmed rather than their actual "live" conversations. Thus, conversations filmed through windows, doorways, etc. Nice change.

I made the same mistake with LAW & ORDER this week. NBC ran a rerun at 9, but a new episode at 10. For some reason, I thought the 10 p.m. show was a rerun, too, so I didn't record it.

Yes, DR Jose, I do plan to take a walk later today, but probably not in a northerly direction!  :)

Well, with the way the wind is gusting outside right now, I may have no choice in the matter.

Actually now I think about it I did fall down yesterday morning.  I caught the hem of my pants on the bottom of the storm door and pushed the door shut and tried to walk down the front steps at the same time resulting ina me landing ina a rather ungraceful heap on the front stoop while the Vixter cried," Mama are you a having a stroke?!"

Apparently she learned the warning signs of a stroke in health class and one of them seems to be falling down.

As DR WEL wrote, don't let the movie version of WHERE THE TRUTH LIES put you off the book!

The leading lady killed the movie for me - among OTHER things.  As was commented here last week - most people didn't even know the movie had been released.  As Molly Bee said about THE CHARTROOSE CABOOSE..."It didn't release, it escaped!"

Earlier this week, I posted (about the Oscars):

"At the time they walked off the stage, the winners of Documentary -- Short had me grinning.  They were so over-the-top and so....French.  But, they were a highlight for me...very grateful and funny."

And François asked last night what did I mean by using "French" in that manner...what was I getting at.

My intent was to imply an "overbounding enthusiasm" that I idiotically and insensitively classify as a French trait.

Sorry if you were offended.

What a wonderful way to start the day!

I got all my papers graded and tests made this morning, and then I returned to last night's posts.

Oh were you people ever in rare form!  I snickered myself into stitches.  Of course, FJL was the prime mover, punwise, as usual, but everyone from Paris to Oz took up the gauntlet.  Let it never be said than any other site on the Internet has more meaningless messages than this here site.

I can only assume you had all been doing body shots at the library.

Of course, as soon as BK showed up the room cleared out.  Perhaps it was his cologne?

My "Idol" watching was interrupted by a phone call last night.  At first, it was great hearing from this person, but the call went on and on and on and on and on and on...and I was just saying, "Uh-huh," "yep", "I could have told you that," etc., etc., etc.

I like "being there" for friends....but I hate being taken for a ride.  When the call was two hours old, I stopped the one-sided dialogue and said I needed to go because it was near my bedtime and I had some things I needed to do.  My caller got huffy, apologized for taking up my valuable time and hung up!

It saddens me, but I pray it's the last I ever hear from this person.

Did I miss a new "Smallville" last night?  Time totally got away from me.

While the new CSI was airing, I was totally on the phone and not able to follow the story.

I'm up, I'm up - and at last got a good night's sleep.

Yes, I do have to grade the students, and what I've told them is that they'll all get good grades if they at least make an attempt to do what the class asks of them.  I actually have to spell all this out in a syllabus this weekend, as that is now required by law - yet another sop to today's entitled children - certainly we didn't have such thing when I went to LACC.

Yes, these CDs are on Kritzerland and you can preorder them shortly.  The info will be in the notes, but the new titles should be up on the Kritzerland site by this evening, along with art and audio clips.

It was cold here this morning.  A lot of hills have snow on them that I have heretofore NOT seen snow upon.

But....it's still in the forecast that "we" (us'ns at sea level) may see snow tonight and tomorrow morning.

Don't know now if that's a good thing or not.

I watched, last night, my tape of Wednesday's episode of "Invasion"....GREAT STUFF!

This show really moves in unexpected directions and has unsettling diversions that remind me of the best elements of "The X-Files" while being completely different from that show.
