A quick hello. Just finished the script I needed to finish for NY. Now I have to do some major proofing, then pack. It's going to be a long night. But I did it! Vibes to all!
Don't know if I'll log on from NY. Depends on how much time I have and what the set-up is in the room. DR Elmore can report on our meeting if I don't.

It's HERE!  It's HERE!

It was well-packaged and in a box three times the size needed! *

But it's HERE!

Oh, RAPTURE!

* (My "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" 3-CD set with autographed insert -- John Williams, Petula Clark, Leslie Bricusse, Ian Fraser, and Mort Abrahams).

Well, I'm off.  I'm ushering for a performance of The Spitfire Grill.  I love the CD with Liz Callaway.  I have to tape tonight's shows...fortunately, there are several repeats, so I can get them all on one tape. :) Later!

Hello Children!

Just dropping in, by way of the public library, to let you know that my computer passed away last evening at about 8:00 p.m., PDT.  Unfortunately, there seems little home of revival, so I will be checking in whenever I can snare someone else's computer for a few minutes.

See you soon (I hope).
TCB

Thanks for all the vibes for my mom. She's feeling a bit better today, well enough to come visit tomorrow. They haven't been here since I got all my stuff moved in, so I'm looking forward to them coming here.

I've been sort of catching a cold etc. the past few days, so with a jury trial looming I went to the doctor today. I got a Z pack and he gave me a prescription for codine cough syrup. Now that helps me sleep when I'm not feeling well

We also made a trip to the vet today. Nilla is also on antibiotics and he will get his fangs pulled on Friday. It will be sad to see him without them, but they are pretty bad. He has some sort of tooth disease that you really can't do anything about. Poor guy

Back from the vocal session with Mr. Haines, which went well.  Then lunch with Jessica Skerritt, who is a beautiful and delightful young lady - we had quite a nice two hour lunch at Hamburger Hamlet, and I'm quite certain she thinks I'm mad as a hatter (I always do this at first meetings - if they can get past that, then they'll "get" me as a person and all will be well).  I've told her to come register and post - we'll see if she does.

Glad to hear that the lunch went well.

Here's hoping MBARNUM's discovery will go on to even greater stardom from here.

Well, no offense Jrand, but maybe you didn't want to pay 100 bucks to get it! Yes, that was the price.... it's sold out!

Btw, Mr Ian Fraser, who worked on the film and who also signed the cd set, has been Dame Julie's musical director for many years now!

I've never understood why Mr Haines has given us the cold shoulder here at HHW; we love him, we buy his recordings, we praise him but no, NEVER a kind word or a recognition! :-\ ;)

I got my Mr. Chips CD today, but am first listening to its companion, The Swimmer, which I'm nutty about.

I suppose I shall now be on my way to see Miss Jessica Rush in Pilgrim.  It's at the Ricardo Montalban Theater (formerly the Huntington Hartford, where Benjamin Kritzer saw all the plays that changed his life).  I'm going out with Jess after, and then will be back with a full report.

CD:  BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY

DVD: AS TIME GOES BY, series 1, disc one.
I Hope we can get the entire series on DVD & not get left stranded as we are with MONARCH OF THE GLEN.  It is very frustrating knowing there are several more years left to watch on this show & we can’t get them-for now.

I really enjoyed hearing Mr. Kevin Spirtas singing today. He is now added to my list of favorite singers.

Then Mrs. Miller warbled to me for a while. Then I went home. Such an exciting day I had.

Thanks DR Jane.  Of course even though I feel cruddy and have warned my parents I haven't gotten things settled yet and it's a mess, I've been cleaning and organizing.   I mean it's my Mother coming. I don't think I'll ever outgrow wanting things to look nice when she comes to visit.

LOL, I finally decided to give up on trying to get anything more done. Mom will just want to rearrange everything.  She does have some good ideas, so it's not totally unwelcome
