It is a lovely day here today - weatherwise - with temps in the low 70's.....tomorrow starts a run of 80's & 90's......
I’m having a Monday.
Thinking about DR Elmore here, too, and hoping we’ll hear something soon.
As I prepare to leave, the damned toilet has sprung the same leak the super has repaired twice! I do noit need this crap.
And on that, thanks for the vibes and good wishes. Hopefully, I will see you all soon!
Happy Anniversary to Jane & Keith!!!
Happy 51st anniversary, Jane and Keith.
Rita, Rita, eat some pita.
Pita, BTW, is name of a friend’s cat. It stands for Pain in the A—.
Books are here and being signed, although with the musical quote it's gonna take all day.
Apparently, protesting on Ventura Blvd. today - this all seems very carefully targeted and planned to me. I pray there is no looting and fires.
I got the approval to work from Louisville for two months.
I've just finished a long FaceTime chat with my friend Rebecca. No news yet from Josh...
Happy Anniversary to DR Jane and Keith!
Happy 51st wedding anniversary to DR Jane and Keith!
I got the approval to work from Louisville for two months.
Wow. Is there a special reason or just to spend time with your mother?
Happy anniversary to those two crazy kids.

She wants yo see the bird. And I am his chauffeur.

I spoke with the hospital and Larry is out of surgery and resting in his room. He is in a bit of pain and tired, but the surgery went well. I hope to hear from him at some point tomorrow (if he's up to it) and will send along details and updates as I get them.
Thank you, Ginny.
I am still waiting word on my birding buddy.

It’s almost as though they have no interest in arresting the REAL troublemakers.
Curious, eh?
Sadly the police arresting or shooting wooden bullets at the press isn't helping. I enjoyed the photos of the police marching with the peaceful protesters. I would like to see more of that.
My friend is doing well, I heard. She's a tough old broad. She'll probably be on her feet walking around in a couple of hours.
Isn't it also funny how this little thing called a pandemic, which we've all endured and are still enduring to try to "flatten the curve" goes right out the window with protests. Few masks, people huddled together - the looters tend to wear masks but for obvious reasons. People are photographing license plates of these creeps but I don't think the police will do a damn thing.
You can go to flightradar24.com and see the aircraft that are in the air. I can see that a police helicopter has been circling downtown Phoenix for some time now. It might be interesting to monitor your town.
Happy Anniversary to Jane and Keith.
I agree and then it would be easier to arrest them. Then maybe we could find out who they really are.

I was never a big Joel McCrea fan, but Randolph Scott is probably my favorite Western star.
Sorry Duke.
In fact, when I was a publicist, Budd Boetticher, who directed seven of Scott's best films, was a client. A framed lobby card from THE TALL T, signed by both Scott and Boetticher, is hanging on my wall.
I never met Scott, though I did do a brief phone interview with him once when I was researching my Basil Rathbone book.

Every time I hear/read the name of Randolph Scott, I think of THIS SONG (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6tF6AT5ZSA). :))
Today is our 51st wedding anniversary. It is a strange one. As long as we are together is what counts. While not the most exciting, it certainly isn't the worse one we have had. We will be happy if it stays that way.

I watched Part One of the LAUREL CANYON documentary on EPIX last night.....it was so wonderful to see the films and especially to hear the music......
And I, too, thought about the song from LA NOW & THEN......

That Sondheim feller can certainly write for strippers. I’d never seen this staged.

But this time, we turned it around so that the patched holes didn't hit the coop in the same places.

So, all the chickens who moved their spot to avoid the rain, will find themselves back in the rain.

Congrats to MR BK on all the signing!

No, I didn't. What did he talk about? I can watch it on On Demand later.

Our President vs the protestors. Very powerful!

Because every day is better with a little Karen Morrow in it.
