Back from lunch.  I didn't have much appetite - had a cup of chicken soup and a turkey sandwich.  Still not sure of how I feel, but I think a bit better, so keep sending vibes and xylophones for that and the second miracle, which is close to happening.

I fully intended to work today. whether at home or the office, but it's a snow day and I think there is a rule that you can't work on a snow day

Also, got a big box from Amazon - all filled with SAG screeners for their various series, none of which I've ever seen and most of which I've never heard of.  I had heard about The Man in the High Castle and I've got all six episodes of that and I hear their show with Jeffrey Tambor is very good, but they sent season two and I don't know if that's such a good idea to start it with the second season.

Hey everyone.  Just a quick hi!   I'm in the midst of moving, again.  That's another story, nevermind... I'll do some catching up with that later.

On Friday, I had a wonderful breakfast with our DR Elmore in NYC.  Definitely a highlight of my quick trip to NYC - I saw 5 shows and a parade in 3 days... and some great time with Larry!   Anyway, more about everything soon.... in the meantime... here we are!

DR Matthew, that was indeed a wonderful breakfast!  I'm happy you are safely home but sorry to hear of another move.

We loved the Jeffrey Tambor series, Transparent. I would definitely start with Season One first, though.

Poor Joshie. I came home from my day trip and he was behind the sofa meyowling pitifully. I pulled out the sofa, and he went running out, with a paper shopping bag with a twisted handle trailing behind him. He took off in a panic, and I had to catch him. Sandra got scissors and cut the handle, which was twisted tightly around his leg. He seems ok. He is purring beside me now. Poor kitty.

Poor boy, and I'm sure you know how lucky you are that he is ok.

We had a silver Christmas tree with the revolving colored light too.  My mother admitted years later that she always hated it but it had been a gift from her uncle so she felt she had to put it up.

I listened to Liz Callaway's new CD today--I enjoyed it very much.  It was nice seeing the special mentions of DR elmore and BK!

I can't think of anything around my house that creeped me out.

Neither can I.  We didn't have mothballs when I was growing up, but a former coworker used them.  You really could tell when she brought out some clothes from her storage. :P

Wife Sandy gets her neck X-rays this morning and sees the doctor tomorrow.  If he clears her, she'll be able to drive again.
