I drove my sister to her home and got to my place just around midnight.  The HHW day had already changed when I was finally able to log in.

Well, I need to go to sleep now, as well.  Today, I have to go to work and finish my evaluations for my staff.  I MUST get them done today!

Have a good day, everyone else, too!

We watched DRAFT DAY with Kevin Costner and Jennifer Gardner last night.

Even if, like me, you don't follow football, it's a very entertaining film.

TOD:

I really detest everything P.C.

Fort Hood and, quite possibly, this San Bernadino tragedy would not have happened if it wasn't for our P.C. culture.

Tonight I will see my goddaughter Charlotte in a Spanish Renaissance play, Life Is A Dream.  Today, I have no plans of any sort.  i do have a Monday crammed with incident.

BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE was ... okay ... last night.  It's nice to see it done, and the production was very stylish, but there was a lack of chemistry between the two leads who both seemed to be phoning it in.  It's too bad, because the datedness of the book really showed through as a result.

I never liked the play much, but I love the film version.

I would agree with that now.  I'd never seen it on stage, or even read it, so last week I did finally read through it quickly which prepared me for a bit of letdown.  I hoped, of course, that they would overcome its weaknesses, and it looked hopeful at first, but it was not to be.

I love the movie, too.  I only knew it as a kid on black and white TV, then later in color on the murky DVD.  The Twilight Time Blu-ray is beautiful.  I'll be watching it soon with a couple of the people who saw the play with me last night.  They don't know the movie so I'm interested in their reactions.
