I'm happy to report that after fretting for the past week over keys, transitions, and coda, I have the layout for the Dreidel Song frozen and my publisher is very happy to hear that. Of course, there won't be any sales before next August.

I'm grateful for the employment.

And I just received in the post the full orchestra score for THE GOLDEN APPLE, I've been waiting for this since July.  I need to assure that the fixes are in and that it represents the vocal core and orchestra parts.  I'm not having any more of that Jay Dias (conductor if the new recording) "I know more than the composer" changes going on.

I suppose that any other song from "The First Nudie Musical" would be too far over the edge.

;)

I am starving, but I've been waiting for a call from my brother Randy for the past 45 minutes.

WELL.....we received a letter asking for the documents so that my mother will continue to receive my father's pension.

I gathered up and copied the documents, and we will mail them tomorrow.  And the payments will be retroactive back to October 1.

Thanks.  I didn't actually take it, and fortunately cannot see a big tv from my window view.

That's great about the retroactive payment, Jrand!

I am trying to find the Christmas spirit, without much success.  I have watched SCROOGE and I have listened to Bernard Herrmann's "A Christmas Carol" with no luck.  Next up is MAGOO'S CHRISTMAS CAROL.

Had some soup and a sandwich, picked up no packages, had a nice visit with Nick Redman - and spent some headache-inducing time on the phone with Sirius radio - I've made a deal with them for all the titles we own and now have to get them something called metadata on all the tracks and it's just so confusing to me.
