Tuesday afternoon greetings!  I've been to the post office to get a little something on its way to DR Elmore, the doctor's office to pick up papers, and to Kroger.  Relaxing at home for a few minutes until it's time to meet Margie for lunch at Java Johnny's.

I'm up, I'm up - lots of robo calls this morning, but what else is new?  Helper will be here in forty minutes for the Costco run.

I slept last night, ALL night 😊😊😊

Sounds wonderful. Much warmer in Texas today.
Currently 53 on the road to Waco.  We were shocked to see the speed limit was 80.

I am just now able to connect here.  We walked on the one street historical section of Bartlett. The stores that were not covered in paper or torn apart were closed.  We lost cell service, including our GPS and had to use a map 😁

DR vixmom, I always suspected you were behind the missing War & Peace set!

My money was on Col. Mustard in the library with a butter knife. But what do I know?

TOD:
The first three volumes of Proust
Balzac' Le Cousin Pons and A Harlot High and Low
A few of BK works, especially Kritzer Time and Patrick Bronstein Presents
The One-Way Bridge by Cathie Pelletier
Bobby Short's Saloon Singer (as selective in truth as Esther Williams' autobiography sounds)

Topic of the Day (in author order...and not necessarily new books):

Adams, Douglas:  Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (I reread this because of the new TV series...which I've found has absolutely NOTHING to do with the book, at all)
Butcher, Jim:  Cursor's Fury and Captain's Fury (CODEX ALERA series), Ghost Story and Cold Days (DRESDEN FILES series)
Kimmel, Bruce:  Patrick Bronstein Presents
Lloyd, Braden:  False Start and Jake's Fault (A Chapter in My Life, Books 2 and 3) ["Braden Lloyd" is actually the pseudonym of a friend of mine!]
Rowling, J.K.:  Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Parts One and Two)
Wolf, Gary K.:  Who Censored Roger Rabbit? and Who P-p-p-plugged Roger Rabbit?

:)

We just had a delightful tour of the Dr Pepper museum in Waco.  To Keith's disappointment he did not like any of the shirts in the gift shop.   Dr Pepper is his favorite soda pop.

Did some banking and picked up packages.  Listening to music.  Approved the master, which is on its way to the pressing plant.  Will soon see the rest of the packaging.

This evening we went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner.  The guacamole was excellent.   I had a spinach enchilada in a soft red pepper tortilla topped with cheese and a creamy cilantro sauce.   Once I removed most of the sauce I could taste the flavor of the red pepper tortilla.

The waitress raved about the cheesecake on the dessert menu so we tried it.  Keith kept saying it was much better than the Cheesecake Factory.   It tasted so much like my mother's, and now my, cheesecake I immediately wrote my brother to tell him about it.

I don't make it for just the two of us making this a real treat.
