Evidently, there is a LOUD fireworks display going on pretty close to where I live. I would guess down in Tumwater Valley, which is too far for me to see from my place (even on the third floor), but not too far to hear it.

The noise must be driving my niece crazy! My cat's not reacting to the noise much at all. I guess that that's a good thing.
