That’s why I’m starting now, DR JRand!  We don’t need them until May 7, but I have to get them to my co-host to fill them with candy and other treats.

I didn't realize the keyboard department would be so large.

I'm just being silly calling it a "department". There are only two there - which, in a film score composed for 13 players, would be pretty typical.

I didn't look at the area closely or would have noticed there are only two keyboards.  I am the silly one.

I am beyond upset at the treatment DR TCB and other cast members are getting.....a THREE HOUR wait for rehearsal to start???

I know!  I can't imagine anyone trying to get away with that. :-\

And yet, they did.  Would you have complained about the wait, say after an hour?

I think that people I know would've complained after about 15 minutes.  And if nothing was happening at all, people probably would've started leaving.

That isn't much of a wait at all.  DR TCB did anyone leave or complain?

DR JANE I would have been very unhappy, but I probably wouldn't have said anything.  When you are in a situation like that, there is usually the feeling that something will start "any second"....and you certainly don't want the rest of the cast waiting around for YOU if it does.....

I'm still trying to "process" TCB's story of the three-hour delay.

Apologies if I somehow glossed over things and missed this, but how in the HELL did that happen? What was said about it?

I guess we can all say this, but that is simply beyond my imagining.

And on a sad note, MY KINDLE DIED!!  :( :'( >:( I went to lunch and when I went to turn it on, it didn't turn on.  I then held the on/off switch to try and reboot it, but again nothing happened.  I brought it back to work and plugged it into my computer with a USB cable to see if powering it up might do anything and NOTHING!  My computer couldn't even read it as an external hard drive like it's supposed to.

Of course, this was my third Kindle.  My first one died just like this, and I still have my second, which I misplaced and thought that I had lost, so I unregistered from Amazon and THEN found it, so I can't add any Amazon Kindle titles to that.  But I do have that one with titles still on it.

Sorry.  Will you order a new one online or go someplace like Best Buy and check out your options?

This third Kindle, I got used for only $10, so I'm not losing very much, but I only had it since last year.  Fortunately, when I get another one, I can re-download all my purchased Kindle titles that I had on the third one.  However, I'll have to place holds again on all of the library's OverDrive titles that I want to get again.  I was about 65% through Robert Galbraith's* Lethal White.

I didn't know that Best Buy has Kindles, but I'll look around.  I don't need (or want to pay for) the latest and greatest version of Kindle, so we'll see what's out there again.

Back from the first of this week's three rehearsals for the revue.  I got most of the group numbers staged, and did a couple of solos - keeping everything fun but simple.  Pretty funny stuff.

Stopped at the mail place and happily the replacement check was there - postmarked 11/13 - six DAYS to get from Burbank to Valley Village - the drive takes approximately six MINUTES.  I have a good mind to call the Burbank post office and raise some hell.

Then I got the money in the bank, then stopped at a nearby Subway and got the spicy Eyetalian foot-long, which I'm eating right now.

Check your library status online.  You should still show the book checked out and download it again on the Kindle.  At least that is how my EPUB books work.
