DR Chas, are you saying that your stores still give out plastic bags with groceries? That's very last century here. If we want a bag they sell us a paper bag for 10 cents. That's by law; it's not an option for the stores. The produce section has small plastic bags, though, which are free.

Before taking bags in was commonplace I saved my paper bags in the truck of my car and reused them. We have one very nice foil lined bag that is our favorite and keep in the front of the car for easy grabbing. It is our first bag of choice before using our other reusable bags from the trunk.

When we moved here and transferred our State Farm insurance the agent gave us the bag. It is solid, comfortable to hold, and zips closed to keep it cooler inside.

I googled foil lined shopping bags curious if we could buy one once this breaks (it is still good after 3 years) and found a few stories of foil lined shopping bags used for shop lifting

Maybe our silver lining is a different insulation than foil.

Mine also zip and are very comfortable to use. A bit plain, but very useful.

How funny! I guess the foil allows the items to get past the scanner.

We still get free plastic bags - one use, not T-shirt bags - at all stores. Aldi's grocery SELLS bags, so when we shop there we take our own.

Here in Suffolk county it will cost you five cents for a bag, in all stores, grocery, departments stores etc. but take out food can still be put in a plastic bag for free

I looked up the bag regulations passed in Ashland in 2014. My memory is off by 5 cents. The charge for paper bags was 10 cents. I recall stores giving out plastic bags until their supplies were gone.

Two nights ago I had spinach in my salad. Last night I made something super fast before going to my book group and didn't have any. Keith had the spinach. Today he told me to throw it out in case it is the reason he is sick.

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep and then I was crazy trying to get everything done in time for rehearsal, so I was out the door before even going on the computer.

I had two numbers to stage so we just dove right in and I have to say they came out really great. It's all very simple and very clean, which is my favorite kind of staging and the fact that we're on five stand mics makes it all easier and you have to be even more creative.
